all im saying is i checked my trichs and i had cloudy and amber. waited two more weeks, buds swelled up a lot more. checked the trichs again and still mostly cloudy with amber.

dont cut your plants down at the FIRST site of amber trichs ... thats all im saying

but the OP said 50-80% HAIRS turned red ... which has NOTHING to do with harvest ...

you guys can continue your circle jerk now

Man what a bitching contest! When people start arguing and bitchin' it just ruins a thread. Having to sift through all the bullshit conversation just to find the answers you are looking for!! Besides, this was a thread started on the subject of curing and has evolved into who knows the best time to crop.

My thoughts on 'flavouring the bud' with fruit, i'd have to say it's....controversial, but if you prefer your ganja flavoured, fair enough. Personally i like my buds the way they are.
Why not grow a fruity flavoured strain if you want a fruit taste in your weed??? I could name you many from my experience.....

really? gonna be a racist? i happen to find the hair color and trich color very useful in harvest. As for flavoring, if someone says they want some really lemony buds, i think extract would work great. Alot of people that arent growers just smoke for the high and crazy flavors, a local middle man i know informs me that a majority of people just buy whatever sounds fruitest. Like do a majority of you use a grape wrap with your strawberry cough? again its preference, but i wouldnt even bother with that if anything id add grape flavor to that particular bud for smoke.

its not hard and theres no chance of mold if your not a careless idiot.
if you keep an eye on your cure while the fruit is with your weed its perfectly harmless
this can be used for a bud smell that is not attractive to you or anyone else .
this cannot result with " you end up fucking your harvest up "
you need to open your eyes .
its not a hard process

Which again, is just a mistake to begin with.. because the buds smell/taste the way they do.. for a reason. And if you properly dried/cured your buds in the first place.. you shouldn't need/want to add any kind of non natural smell to them.

Those were my words.. and its only my opinion on the subject.

because my plants got fatter ... kinda like when you got out of highschool... but not quite as much ... what do you think?
