CSI humboldt thread

I get that I do. Let me break it down, I order on the 2 dollar menu, I get 6 seeds, that is 12 bucks, plus 6 for shipping so 18 total, I can scrape together 20 bucks, what I can not scrape together is 102 bucks.

it is NOTHING against them at all, I have literally never heard a Single bad thing about them, everything I have heard has been fantastic. But I simply can not come up with over 100 bucks for seeds. I dont work due to my health. So its just not possible for me to order from them. If they were selling Single seeds where you could order 1,2,3,4,5 etc at 3.50 per seed, I for sure would order, but that big pack cost to get the 3.50 per seed prices them out of my budget.
We can afford what we can afford. Ive grown plenty of random cheap seeds, thats how i started. Nothing wrong with that! Especially if its all personal smoke and you dont have a client base to keep happy.

Theres also absolutely nothing wrong with paying a bit more to secure genetics from someone with a rep like CSI. I know im supporting the preservation of old school sometimes forgotten gems of cultivars here. I am straying away from other breeders this year and focusing more on CSI gear because hes one of the few not saturating the market with renamed cookies/gelato crosses and staying true.

Sorry for the hostility, i guess i didnt see the point in dropping into a thread just to say "they are not a company id ever try" and that their prices are "insane" when theyre really known to come with an absurd about of freebies and are actually just out of your price range. I dont go on Lamborghini forums and baulk at the prices of the cars i cant buy, especially if my only follow up was that i appreciate their work but just prefer/am limited to my cheaper option.

Not a company I will ever try, WAY WAY WAY WAY outta my price range. 21 bucks a seed is insane.
Strainly has tons of csi humboldt gear, most go for between $60-$80 for a sealed pack
Ive bought 4 packs and have 6 lemon tree x lemon party girls that all reek of lemon in veg,so i know the seeds are legit.
I got off dark globe seedbank for 60 bucks plus shipping

GLO was a character and an email list that went something like, "ARE YOU READY FOR THE STDEEEEEEEAAAAAALLLLZZZ!!!!??? SERIOUSLY FOLKS THIS IS THE LAST OF MY FINAL LIQUIDATION SALE AFTER THIS THE DEALS ARE DONE FOR REAL"

and you could pick up some pretty good deals he offered on like multiple packs.

The downside is, you never knew what random ass day they'd show up in your mailbox. Sometimes days, sometimes weeks, but gosh darn it, they always did come through.

And his excuses for late shipping were always hilarious. I WAS DRIVING MY MOVING TRUCK AND CRASHED. STILL SORTING THROUGH THE WRECKAGE. DON"T WORRY FOLKS YOUR SEEDS ARE IN THERE AND SAFE AND WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE IT TO YOU 100

Eventually the fun just stopped. Who knows what happened to that guy.

I guess maybe the hope of posting was that someone from the company would see it and think hey we are missing a whole segment of the market that cant afford big packs and Maybe offer a Per seed menu at a lower cost. Even if they dont include freebees on the Per Seed Menu.

I do understand where your coming from tho and I took no offense at all.

It’s weird to hear a broke/cheap person talk about buying seeds at all. All my tightwad friends make their own seeds, or they just keep cloning the same plant over an over
I will be doing that too, but you cant make a seed outta thin air, you need something to start from lol. I grow Autos so cloning is out.

i know Caleb works with some fantastic genetics but im not a fan of mystery seeds. The difference in phenotypes is enough of a gamble for me lol
The only Mystery plants i run are those volunteers that appear in pots, sometimes one looks really nice as a seedling, but those are almost always Male
