So I bought some Tiresias Mist and am going to spray an.auto.diesel with it and collet the pollen from it and was wondering if I.polinate a branch off of a female photoperiod will the seeds be auto or photo if the father.is an auto
 
F1 will show no signs of auto traits
F2 will be around 25%
F3 around 50%
F4 around 75%
and F5 will be 100%.

you will have to continue the TM for each generation though.

It's easier to get a male auto and collect pollen. this way your seeds are regular and you can breed the progeny of each generation together.
male x female both from the same plant.

Then you can feminize the strain once you have 100% autoflowering seeds.
 
Wooo woo woo please explain more I thought it was spray plant get pollen spread on female get seeds and would be auto...if I polinate aitos with auto.pollen it will be an auto correct?
 
Click on the breeder project link in my signature. go to the last page. the first post explains how another breeder made his auto from an auto and a photo.
 
Crossing autos together does not always work the first time. If the genetics are not stable then you may need a second or more crosses to accomplish it.

I don't know everything about breeding however i do know that you cannot just do one cross and expect auto seeds if crossing auto x photo.

F1 hybrid is a term used in genetics and selective breeding. F1 stands for Filial 1, the first filial generation seeds/plants or animal offspring resulting from a cross mating of distinctly different parental types.
 
How do u do more then one cross with the same strain....just take 5 clones and polinate all 5 will they all be different?
 
If you have pollen from the same strain you plan to pollenate it's not cross breeding.

If you plan to use pollen from a female auto that you are herming for fem pollen,
all the seeds produced will be mixed phenotypes. your first generation of seeds, F1, will not show any auto traits at all...

If you are using the TM for the fem pollen you will have to use it again on one of the females you grow with the F1 seeds
Again for F2
and F3
and so on until you get 100% autoflowering hybrids in the F5 generation. You will again need to do it for an F6 in hopes of stablizing the strain.

The Spyder auto i have now is F9. and it took him till F8 to get the genetics stable enough for marketing.
 
So if I spray my lsd plant a few branches it can self polinate right and give me straight fem.lsd seeds cuz id be happy with that......if I take my diesel auto.spray it get pollen pollinate my cssh(critical super silver haze) get seeds from that spray that seed get pollen and spray another cssh x diesel seed get those seeds and spray em and polinate em and so on?
 
What do.you mean genetics stable enough...I just want auto seeds so I can pop.as many as I want for staggered growth id like to cross an auto with barneys farms lsd
 
You will be working for a long time if you cross an auto with a photo.

Plain and simple. As i was told last month, if you have never done any breeding before, Do not start with creating an auto.
You will be going through 5+ grows to get the auto seeds.

I'm not trying to discourage you but you have the wrong idea on how auto's are created.

Spyder took over 2 years to develop.
because it's a 10+ week plant and he ran 9 generations before he was confident of it's stability.
that's 90+ weeks to create a stable autoflowering strain...

You'll be looking at a minimum of 1 year to get to the F5 generation. and have autoflowering seeds.
 
If you want auto seeds that bad. buy autoflowering regular not feminized. cross 2 of the same plant together and there are you auto seeds. that would be S1 not F1 because it's crossing the same strain male and female.
 
I looked and on the tude its 40$ for 3 seeds what are the odds of even getting a male? And what about crossing two autos for just personal grow I spray TM on an auto get pollen and pollinate another auto will that produce auto seeds that I can just use for personal?

There are so many more.

All of them are REGULAR seeds or have regular available. so you will get male and female to cross together to get a good stock of seeds for yourself and they'll already be stable.
 
You can spray on a female and let her pollenate herself or cross pollinate autos as i already told you. as long as the parents are both stable.
 
I may try to self.polinate I got 4 autos in the tent all dif strains is it ok to try and spray one in there or would they cross polinate.
 
4 different strains? you would cross pollinate.
Isolate ONE female and have her self pollinate. if she is with the rest of the plants while the pollen is shed she will cross with the rest.
