So me and a buddy were talking about crime stoppers today, and read this on their website

""reward of up to $2,000 is offered to anyone providing information which leads to an arrest for a crime. Rewards may also be made for information leading to the recovery of stolen property, the seizure of illegal drugs or an arrest on an outstanding warrant.""

We were just wondering if we were to tip them off of one little plant that we "Stumbled" across if we would get a cash reward  Or if we had a male plant and just took as many clones as we could, planted em outside then reported em :eyesmoke:Does anyone know crime stoppers policy in Canada on dope plants?

Why would you want to call in some MJ plants? That's a crime in itself? BTW, the po po would prolly hold you as a prime suspect.

I don't think immature cannabis plants would count as "illegal drugs". Even if you did get a cash reward there would have to be an investigation first. That could definately cause you problems if you are growing. Too many uncontrolable variables.

yeah dude no one calls those things, they want to catch like violent criminals and major vandalism is the primary concern. they probably just remove the plants and tell u to have a nice day, why would you get rewarded? you didn't prevent any heinous crimes or protect people.

I guess the only way they would pay, is if someone snitchs a grow house out. But I bet our great conservative government would think that it's protecting the people, seeing as they want to set 1 year minimum for 1 plant to target "Gangs" :finger:

you the only way you make money from crime stoppers is if their is a conviction. someone has to do time for the plants

GrowTech

stays relevant.
Problem is, the crime would need to lead to an arrest, which would require you frame someone... Which is wrong. :finger:

So if he reported the plants to crimestoppers and ended up getting himself convicted for growing the plants, could he be rewarded for getting himself convicted?

Lol our own president was talking about imprisoning people today before they commit crimes. He spoke in front of the constitution too ironically. Snitching is something I would expect from an american, we are the greediest country on earth. What makes you expect Canadians to snitch moreso than others?
