I knew that Skunk/Puck had to be a winner!!!! I got 2 packs of it, and with the smoke report, it makes me want to buy 2 more packs.
I would someday like to cross a Male(s) of this to either a Female Relic Cough BX3-Relic Super Silver Haze F2, AKBeanBrains NL5 x Haze.
Of course Ive not seen all the weed in the world, and dont have a ready access to most of the strains, many can get from dispensaries, or places to buy clones ect, though I did buy a Verified Chem91skva cut, a Dominion, Local Skunk clone and gave them to a buddy, for safe keeping.
But being from the foothills of the Appalachians, in East Ky, I started smoking weed when I was 8, almost 9, in 1967 when my older sisters boyfriend used to get me wasted. Ive seen/smoked a great deal of good weed. My one buddy back in the 80s, used to pull 100lbs+ skunk grows, on the Levisa Fork, of the Big Sandy, The Ohio River, and the Kentucky River. I found him dead, at his home in Oct 2022.
I had a strain/seeds that were given to me in 1991. They actually came from a friend. My buddy was an Eagle Scout Master, and he went to a convention, in Louisville, in 1991, and met another Eagle scout Master,,, a younger guy, early 20s. My buddy was about 40. They got onto the subject of weed, and my buddy told him, he grew weed, and the guy says, so do I, and I have a couple strains Id like to give you. So after the convention, they went to his place, and he gave him 2 different types of seeds. He kept one strain, and gave me the other. There were 15 seeds, of each strain.
They were NL5 x Haze x Nevils Hashplant x Sk#1.
I gave them to a buddy that was growing, I wasnt growing at the time, and this buddy, has been a partner on and off for 45 years. His younger brother was the guy that used to get me stoned, when I was 8. Hes 74 years old.
The deal was my buddy would grow the seeds,and breed it, and we split the seeds, and weed. So, one day he shows up at my house, and says the weed is fnished, and he has the seeds. He had a small joint rolled. I took a dry toke off of it, and almost hit the floor. I handt tasted anything like that since the bst of the very best weed I ever smoked back in the late 60s-early 70s. hit like Panama Red, Vietnam Black, which a friends brother brought back from Nam.
It tasted like what you would think the very best hash would taste like. It was floral lung buster, and if you tried to hold a hit, it would often make you lose your vision, for several seconds, and get a headrush, second to none. It was unsafe to try and drive, and smoke. When you smoked this stuff, you knew you were going to cough. I smoked it for 6 years, and NEVER got burned out on it, or tired of it. It was like having the best weed in the world available, at all times.
It was also a very very paranoia invoking weed for many. Would have people up, looking out their windows, thinking the cops were out there. And some people it would make sick for hours and hours. One woman is still mad at me from 1996, because she swears weed cant be that strong, and says I put PCP in it.
I lost some of my older customers with this weed. Many wanted a weed, that would relax them after work,, but this shit would have them up, looking out the windows, swearing they know the NSA is out there, watching. Not literally, but it was really really heavy duty weed. And even 1 toke, youd be high for 3 hours. 1 toke, was enough to make you cough your brains out, and have snot, and water coming out of your eyes and nose. This stuff was truly in the extremely psychoactive category. It had both a really heavy mental high, with a physical high, just as strong, to go along with it. And youd be high for 6-7 hours on a small joint. 1 x 1 gram joint, would fry 10 people. And there was no ceiling, and you never got burned out on it.
I lost it to the feds, in 1997, when a partner ratted me out, after I gave him 500 clones. They found another 750 at my place, and I pled guilty to a 10-LIFE Mandatory Minimum, and did 7+ years in federal prison, and 5 years supervised release, and the 3-5 million $$$ fine, was waived.
But the above Smoke Report, gives me hope, that one day, I may be able to recreate that old strain. The genetics are now out there. Id been looking for old time NL5 x Haze, Nevils Hashplant, and a Sk1, that hadnt had the crap bred out of it, and become nothing like it used to be.
With the Skunk/Puck, the Puck comes from Nevils Hshplant, and the Skunk that was used, was supposed to be a gnarly smelling, , really good producing plant.
Now, one can get a couple of good NL5 x Haze in the Relic Cough, and AKBeanBrains NL5 x Haze.
So theres the possible building blocks, of that old strain.
The strain I had, REEKED, of Catpiss, and Honeysuckle. We had it growing in a really big, concrete basement, in a really really nice home, and you could smell it out in the street, 150 feet away.
Id use a Male of the Puck/Skunk-Female NL5 x Haze. My strain, was also Narrow Leaf. Done in 7 weeks inside, and not until 1st week of November, outside. It was odd how fast it was Inside, and how late, outside.
