Couple questions about my harvested fruits.

I have 2 oz dried from my 3 white skunk plants. I let the herb dry to about 90%-95% over a week and then trimmed them and put in a mason jar. I'm wondering if I should still be smelling the grass clipping smell. It has been in the jar for about 5 days and I refresh the air daily but the pleasant smell I am looking for has yet to come out.

Also I am drying in the bathroom with lights off and door shut. Is this ok? The room stays pretty cold.

Buddy, for optimal cure, you need three more weeks in the dark at least. More like four. It has barely cured at all yet. The jar method works the best for me, but it takes longer than brownbagging it. You will get a smoother more aromatic smoke if you can wait a few weeks. You seem to be doing it right as far as burping the jars and storing in a cool dark place.. good luck on waiting.

Did you let it mature enough? Sometimes i get that smell if I've harvested too early. but most of time, its the strong stench from the start.
