I was burned way worse than that.. not bragging BTW as it sucked balls. And all er at one hospital and the burn center @ another did was exactly watt c2g said in her first post.. silverdiene and clean dressings.. I had to do the same @ home every day for a good 6 weeks following..

I'm still working on sourcing the silverdine, I've otherwise followed her advice to a T. She took it personal, so I had to.

The other burn, while smaller, was much more intense. That one happened at three in the morning on a job site an hour from my shop, so it burned deep.

Damn minne.. that sucks.
When mine first happened my tattoo looked all new again but as it healed I lost a bit of the tatt from the deepness of the burn.. I was a ball of flames from my feet to my junk for almost a minute till I remembered stop drop n roll.. that shit really works too lol..

Oh well hope the pain isn't too bad m8...

My first motorcycle accident, I went down pushing 120 in a corner I was wearing riding pants, but balled with the slide... I got road rash (deep burn road rash) right on the crack of my ass. I also broke my ribs and tail bone and fucked up my knee. Dude, wiping was a disaster.

I actually appreciate that there's a lot of pain, it means that the burn is mostly superficial.

That part's passed... But, as I explained, the OSHA and Worker's comp. tests need to be legit. They're normally done as part of the blood work up, during initial treatment -- hence my having done the burn at home.

Does Aflac piss test? This could seriously fuck up our lives, we're set to move in 45 days, and have budgeted the move out, with both of our checks.

Or, do you think I could just pop the blisters, put some antibiotic on it, and ride it out the next few weeks?

caste iron frying pan was in the oven..took it out and forgot it was hot..that would fit your injuries as i had done this myself by accident..my hand did not look quite that bad however, very similar.

You should explain that to OSHA, the military, prisons/probation, DOT (State and Federal,) airports, airlines, hospitals... It's used as an "identification marker." And "special exceptions" are made for specific cases.

I've been getting piss tested monthly, since I was 12. I was a very bad child, and an even worse adult, until I worked for computer companies... It would be cool if you were correct, but, they use "gender" as a proof of sample match. And, all of this is moot, as it doesn't pertain to blood testing ... And, I don't have to worry about ANY testing, because the injury happened in my kitchen, at home ... It's what I get for eating fried food, after eating healthy for so long.

Go to an Urgent Care, it's Sunday no one will be around..you can even call ahead to see if there is a wait time..75$/antibiotics/dressing..and if your lucky, they throw you a few vics or percs for the trouble (playing up the pain doesn't hurt lol) :wink:

Chopsticks!!! Why so excited about them? Well. I have traditional Japanese chopsticks. They are long, and a bit thicker... And, they hold my fingers straight, no matter how much that tender, seared meat tries to curl like a delicious little thin cut prime elk steak...

Being injured isn't so bad. It's helped the sex -- we're at like 5 times a day since the burn.

Antibiotics are contra indicated at this point. SSDI washing and watching is the standard of care for this.

Schuylaar you have the law correct. Unfortunately as part of a probation or parole they can force you to give up certain rights in return for your freedom from incarceration. Further one way they can do it is to test, then find another reason for the failure. If you can't find a reason to fail it you lose the sample.

I've seen so many sample losses it's not even funny. All kinds of very precious samples.... sigh... I wish you were right. But the problem is laws without reasonable enforcement measures and rational consequences are unenforceable. It's sad but seems to be the current state of affairs in many areas.
