Hi, all. Sorry to ask such a newbie question but I still have some learning to do. I was wondering what the heck is up with this young lady. She is in her third week of veg. She is at a quarter strength on nutes (GH Flora Series). The strain is 707 Headband by HSO. My ph seems to be fine. I wasn't sure if this was a boron deficiency or if she's not getting enough to eat or if she is overfed. If anyone out there like @tyler.durden or @ttystikk can help me out that would really get me out of this bind. Thanks to all.
PS: these pics are a couple of days old. I went ahead and upped the nutes to half strength but she is already drooping from overfeeding. I've reduced nutes but am still left wondering what her issue is. I'm wondering if it is a phosphorus deficiency?20161112_070538.jpg 20161112_070521.jpg

Hey SKD. My Blueberry plants went through the same thing at about the same age, looks like nute burn to me. I'm not great at diagnosing specific deficiencies/toxicities, but my problem was my nutes were too strong too early. Make sure you calibrate your ph pen often when they're this young, even a few tenths of a point off can make a big difference. If you keep the solution at a quarter strength (or even a little less) until they reach maturity in a few more weeks the problem should correct itself. It's better ime to underfeed than overfeed, underfed is more easily corrected. Like my mentor Al said, there's underfed, just right, and dead. My BB ladies don't like anywhere near the nute strength of my other strains, which is a quandry since I do F&D and they all need to be fed off the same rez. I lowered my nute solution to 3/4 normal strength and they're doing well, but my Trainwreck is a little light in color as a result. Sometimes it's difficult to grow many different strains, you have to play politician and try to find a common level to suit everyone. Good luck, bro ;)

Thanks, tyler. Yeah I noticed that when I moved to half strength the wonder woman was showing the same signs as the 707 Headband. I'm 100% positive that the headband was overfed even at quarter strength. I've ph'd plain water for her and another girl to have for a day or two and the other two plants I've reduced nutes significantly. I'll be adding nutes back into the headband and sweet amnesia very gradually. I appreciate the response, man. :leaf:
