CoolTube Circulation

Hello all,
I am upgrading to a CoolTube and I have a couple questions...
1. Should I put the fan on the exit side and pull the air through, or should I put it on the input side and push the air through? The duct work will be about 4-6 ft total.
2. Should I use 2 fans (160 cfm each), one on the input side and one on the output, or will one fan be sufficient?

Any input or experience is most welcome!
Thanks in advance,
GS

Use the fan to pull. Make sure intake is less than exhaust (negative pressure). Normally on the other side of the cooltube would be a good location for the carbon filter.

Thanks for that!
Do you think 2 fans would be better, one pushing, one pulling?
fyi, I won't have a filter, no need.

Thanks again,
Steve

Nah, just one pulling would get the job done. Instead of getting 2, get 1 nice one to pull air. I would recommend a C.A.P. ValuLine fan, but whatever suits you.

Thanks man!
Don't know how much the fans run, but most of the in-lines I have seen are a bit out the range I want to spend. I don't need it for anything else but the CoolTube, I think most of the larger in-lines would be overkill, ya think?

I just ordered the 435 CFM Valuline 6" centrifugal fan. Cost me $103.95 with shipping.

Thanks Vumar, as I suspected, too much. Pretty much right on with the prices I had been seeing...
