uh well ive lived in a few places in washingto and ive never spent more then 505 a month. try smaller metro areas spokane, clarkston, they have all the washington laws you need with a fraction of the crime and living expenses.

yeah, where are you looking, east side or west side of the mountains? I rented in california and washington and everyone landlord waned 1st, last and deposit. For a $600 apartment, that's close to $2k. it's life as far as I know it.

good luck, though.

ya since everyone lost their homes renting is now crazy expensive. I live in a home that my monthly is so high and the place is worth so low that has it been a mortgage i could have it paid off in 5-7 years just on my normal payment.

If you have the credit to buy, that's the way to go up here. You can get a nice house with a mortgage of like 800-1000 a month where the same house would cost 1200-1400 a month to rent.

There are places in tacoma for less than 1000! Not the nicest area of tacoma but very livable!

I use to live in an apt off S.7th and st. helens, Rent, power, water, garbage and cable tv were only 650 a month and a 650 deposit to get in no/bad credit was ok! This was back when The mix was Ida's and PSP wasn't nasty (maybe they've improved...) but they are still going for the same price!

hahaha! There is hardly any smell, you get a wiff of the TAGRO (tacoma grow) when you are driving past the dome on I5 but that's it, this isn't 1980 early 90 when the smelter and old pulp mills were running. If you're growing you should like that smell! It produces some fine product!

but then again who wants to use amazing local award winning all natural soil? OHHH wait I do!

Proven safe and effective—and awarded the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s highest rating for use in landscaping, vegetable gardens and indoor container gardens—all-natural TAGRO products are made from a blend of pasteurized wastewater byproducts called
biosolids and other weed-free gardening components.

OHHHH wait did you also know This award winning soil is FREE! bring your truck and shovel and it's free! If I wasn't in cali right now I would still be using free shit!!! 253 baby!

I dunno man, I had to go down there like 6 times now for diff jobs. It was rank, although I can't remember exactly where it was, it could have been the tagro or w/e, but it didn't seem to go away all throughout Tacoma. I noticed this before I even knew people called it the "Aroma of Tacoma". I'm originally from Florida, so I was just like "wow this place stinks" and everyone goes "oh you don't know? yea, thats the aroma of tacoma" SO I put 2 and 2 together and it equalled Tacoma is a shithole. But I've only been there 6 times, don't take my word for it. It's a first impression, I'm not claiming to know the area better than you, you're the one who lived there :D

ps - thats cool shit about the soil, i wish i wasnt so far away. its good stuff :(

I wouldnt say Spokane has a fraction of the crime at all. Spokane does not represent the liberal attitude that got WA its relatively relaxed laws. You can live withing 10 miles of downtown Seattle for way less than 1200 a month. Check out Kitsap county, Kingston, Indianola, Suquamish, Poulsbo. All great towns low cost ofliving and easy access to downtown Seattle.

lol @ thinking 1200 a month income is a lot. Here in WA that's minimum wage bro. Washington has the highest minimum wage in the country at $8.67/h and increasing to 9 something come January 1st. I rent a room in a small 3 bedroom house (fuck apartments) for $325 a month. My roommates all stoners. Living the life bro :D

Also, getting this place was a fucking cakewalk. First time renter, didn't even need a co-signer. No deposit or anything. Gave the bitch first months rent and I was moved in HOURS LATER. I highly recommend rooms in houses over apartments. As long as you don't mind roommates, which I'm pretty much bros with mine now lol.

btw the law is 15 plants or 24 ounces of useable weed
