Cool Containers & insect Control.

It's the time of year for two things. First, at your Outdoor Grow, you may want to consider to buy some Barrel Gourd Seeds, & plant anydamwhereyouwant. (That's a Texas word.) These bastards get big, & would be awesome planters for your grow next year. Cured properly, with non-toxic tung oil- (Waterlox) the container would be naturally insulated, and be very cool for a lady to grow in.
Also, it's time for the Hummingbird feeders. What I didn't know & most, is that these birds use the sugar water for energy to chase & eat flying insects. For a cool, easy & cheap method for keeping insects from getting on your Babies, put out 1 to 3 $3.00 cheap feeders, or the glass ones. Rule of thumb, for every one you see at the feeder represents 5 in the field.
The water/sugar ratio for natural flowers is very low on sugar content. The Pros. say a 1 part sugar to 4 part water & 1 part sugar to 5 part water. I do the 1 to 5, because the sun evoperates the water, causing higher surgar ratio, which causes Liver failue to the birds. So I do the 1 to 5 ratio. NO RED DYE, NO CITY WATER. Use plain white sugar, not other sugars. Start with 1/2 the feeder amount, until it's safe to fill them up without it sitting too long without being used. Spread the feeders out, some sit & guard, mean fuckers.
Human nature is human nature. What we normally do is what the Law Dogs do. Movement attracts out attention. Second is something that stands out. For fly-overs, set up, design something that will draw the eye for the pork chopper. A 3 second draw may very well save your ass. A shiny scrape metal pile draws the eye, but also multi-colored vines 100 yards from your grow catches the eye. Spend 50% thought on hiding & 50% attention spot. Just my frame of mind.
