Forgot to ask. Buds hard or soft right now? Have you run this strain before? Makes a difference at weigh in. Soft buds are 35g a jar and hard buds is 90g a jar.

I've never ran the straight blueberry before (I have 4 of those). The other strain I did one grow already but it was grown very differently... I'm not sure the buds are big enough to squeeze yet but in the next few days for sure, that's a good tip thanks :)

Looks great. Last minute advice is to be patient and don't chop too soon. You don't want to harvest on a timer, let them tell you when it's time. Good things come to those who wait, especially growers.

Do you have a microscope to check trichs?

No I don't last time I used the nice camera zoom in method... Maybe I should get a small scope tho if that'd work better?

Not giving any more nutes now, just ph'd water as needed, room goes from 76f (day) to 72f (night)

I plan on drying in the room on a rack after I run the ladies through the bowl trimmer (wet).

Obviously drying with lights off. I have several fans but I think I will only use one during drying and also not have it directly pointed on them.

The outside of the room has collected dew the last two nights but not the inside so I'm hoping that stays the same as it's definitely snowing outside now... Any drying rack advice (to avoid rot/mold) would be much appreciated.

PS: I have read upwards of 20+ how to drying guides so please don't just post a link and say go read for yourself. I'm asking more about personal experiences with the dew on the outside of the mylar. The sheilas are inside an insulted half heated (the grow side) garage.

Thanks as always everyone!

My tip: Don't wet trim.

My tip: Don't wet trim.
I've read so much on wet vs dry trim and it all seems to contradict each other with no real science behind claims (that I've read)

Could you explain / point me to something that supports dry > wet?

Everything I read says dry trim retains more thc and aroma, but can be a harsher smoke and is much more time consuming. While wet trim makes "prettier buds" with less thc, a lighter smoke and reduced aroma.

Side note: was just gifted a bowl trimmer (Xmas), pretty sure it can only be used wet. It's a 16in dual blade w crank.

Thoughts?

Yeah bowl trimmers need wet buds or they obliterate them.

My experience is wet trimmed bud has more trichs sticking to the scissors and far too much scissor hash.

Also wet trimmed bud has less leaf surface area for gases to escape (green smell). Where as you over dry you have green smelling buds or praying a cure can fix the smell. If you still have moisture to cure.

I've done both ways and only dry trim now. No excessive hash, buds are dank at trim, into control drying zone 2 to get rH down to 60%. Up to you though. Live and learn.

I wet trimmed the last batch and the aroma was very citrus (pineapple Express x sensi star) and it cured great but I did get lot of scissor hash, though at present quantity scissor hash loss isn't really a concern. I also clean everything with 151 collecting it and making green dragon from all that "waste". Maybe I'll do 1/2 and 1/2 and take lots of pics etc...
