Continue to give nutes to mother plant?

This might be a really dumb question but this is my first time experimenting with keeping a mother plant vegging while planning to take clones. Anyhow, I have a mother plant that is about 6 weeks old and have been giving nutes to for the past 3 weeks (every other watering). I plan to take the first set up clones from her within the next couple of weeks or so. Do I continue to follow the same nute/watering regiment throughout the mother's life or do I have to change it up? I've never done this before so any help would be great!

Keep an eye on the root-ball as she get's older, if it looks like the pot is getting too small, pot up or if already in big pot, put in flower & mother a cutting. The yields of all my mothers have been above par thanks to a fully developed root mass.
