+1 for this man right here, he knows and speaks truth. I'm going to carry on down the road he is on because there are too many ill-informed in here that think they know it all just because they have been fortunate enough NOT to come into contact with this product themselves, and so ignorantly assume everyone else is a fantasist. And that bloke on the first page who said 'your friend is an idiot and knows nothing', does in fact know nothing. I only hope him and people who talk like him end up with some of this on their hands. I'm sure we'd soon see who'd be laughing then. The U.K. cannabis market is a breeding ground for contaminated gear.

ANYWAY.

If you're smoking weed in the U.K., and you're tired of the cheese because it's everywhere, and someone dangles some nice looking 'import haze' in your face,.. do yourself a favour and stick to the cheese. On reading the first post of this thread, it felt exactly like the position my cat and dog are in. They came across someone selling 'imported amnesia', which was gorgeous at first. Immediate head high, spreading through to energy throughout the body; producing that uplifting high like a sativa should.. keeping you up there for a couple of hours, then bringing you down into a stoned slumber; which is pretty much what i look for in a smoke. Another smoke of it at this point would take you back up for another hour or two before bringing you back down. Contrast, length, and quality of high.. the basic fundamentals of a true haze experience for me. Everything was good. Everything was great... Beautiful.

So, what happened? I'm still asking myself the same question. Fast forward a month or two later,.. amnesia coming from the same guy. Looks the same. Smells the same. This stuff did not produce the sativa effect however, it hit you like it was about to knock you out and no uptake in cannabinoid receptors; instead feeling poisoned.. body rejecting it. Headache. A slight sensation that you could throw up, though controllable. It obviously had an effect, and it was obvious that there was a foreign chemical giving it this effect.. it definitely wasn't a cannabis effect. It left you feeling messy, but not good. Not stoned; Messed up. Tasted a bit like.. tempted to say the scent of paint, though that would not be a completely accurate description; it was like the smell of a freshly painted room. So, the bud received the taste test.. crunch. Oh great.. no surprise really, but still angry it was confirmed additive as opposed to flush issue. Also had a salty taste... assumed salt, or a chemical had been added.. but judging by how it felt, more inclined to say chemical...

Ever since it's been hit and miss with it. Sometimes it's the original belter of that first month of getting it; most of the time it's sprayed or 'cut' with SOMETHING; though not always the same thing. 2 batches since have had a different form of contamination. Had one that had the salty taste but no crunch on the bite, and the most recent is the weirdest yet, and it's something that's been seen years ago but not since, and hard to determine whether it's chemical or flush with this one.. looks like the amnesia but a little damper. Smells like that typical import haze smell, but it's not a strong scent by any means. If you bite a tiny piece of bud, it produces a COLD sensation on your tongue. Taste of bud, bud it is COLD. COLD! I have no idea what this is all about. Whether it's unflushed bud with a chemical buildup that's actually changing it's composition, or whether it's some chemical spray thats been added since, or during cultivation; I have no clue. None.

One thing's for sure though. My cat and dog are going back to the cheese. This haze will kill them if they carry on, and I love my pets.

If you're reading this and have experienced any of what I am talking about or feel the weed you are smoking is not quite right but can't put you're finger on it, please post in here; even if you're just browsing and need to create an account to do so. I did, it only takes about 30 seconds.

Knowledge is power. It is the ill-informed that keep this stuff on the market, so ignore those everywhere; those you smoke with, those you speak to online; even those on this forum that will call you paranoid and clueless for sharing important information. Any cannabis smoker in the UK, experienced or not, needs to be savvy about this stuff for their own health's sake.

So you bought weed from this guy, and thought he contaminated it...........why do you keep going back and buying more for months? IF and thats a big IF a dealer is actually contaminating his weed, I bet he would stop if everyone called him out and STOPPED buying it. Based on your description of events it sounds more likely to me that either the dealer is an inexperianced grower, or is buying it from one. Some of the weed surely was cut to early, or sold "damp" as you put it, both of which would explain most of your complaints about the weed. The "freshly painted room" smell might have actually happened, maybe he painted his drying room right before he hung plants and so they stunk like paint.....

I'm not saying there has never been a case of contaminated weed, but I doesn't make sense that a regular dealer would do it frequently if they wanted to keep selling. Maybe you guys in the UK just get waaaay more fucked with then us and thats why its hard for me to understand. But personally I thought drug dealers with bad drugs went out of business.

You make a very good point and I can't argue with it, and of course I am a fool for going back. I did so on a promise, not in hope; was told it was 'top' but it turned out to be bottom. Looked the part. Smelled the part. But burned the throat. Coating on mouth and throat. A harshness that choked, and ragged the lungs too. 30% haze taste to 70% 'what IS this?'.
In no way am I trying to glorify my incompetence.. I recognise the fact I messed up; but it's mess-ups like mine and fuming about it that leads to posting on forums that fellow smokers might be browsing, in hope of word getting out.. a head's up to safe others ending up with something nasty.
Obviously I now know better and not to bother with this guy no matter how good he says it is. Unfortunately you don't get a receipt in the U.K. and if you're just trying to keep your head down and get by, it's not worth spitting your dummy out over a bit of weed really is it.. brings more problems than it solves and the end result is as far away from the essence of what cannabis is about as you can get. Best course of action is to share the info, abandon the contact, and source elsewhere.
The point of me posting though, is not to say 'hey guys, the u.k. has contaminated cannabis!'. Any smokers living here have known that for years, it's not news. What I'm saying, is this year, 2015, if you're smoking weed in the U.K. and anyone mentions import haze, just keep this in mind.. there's a fair chance it's not all it seems. By all means buy away, you might be lucky.. but you may end up with a bad batch, and when you do you'll wish you had the cheese. Just stick to the cheese. The cheese is good. The cheese is beautiful. Ahhh, exodus cheese. 'uk' cheez. What you do to me.

Got some amnesia twice now sprayed or covered with something, bud smells strange almost like insense covered in what looks like cystals but didnt get me that stoned. What ever it is seems to burn away. No black or hard ash but the powder seems visable on the ash when smoked. Everyones seems to think the weeds fine but i have smoke for a long time and have grown a few crops myself and this weed is not right! On close inspection some of the buds have tiny black flakes of something on them in with the cystals. Not spider mites or eggs or anything like that something odd? Gotta stop this horrible shit!

Bought some Amnesia Haze and Serious6 from Green House in Amsterdam. Both had an insanely strong synthetic smell that I have never experienced before, weak buds but strong smell. I wouldn't be surprised if commercial weed gets sprayed with things to make the smell stronger.

Then again I sold some guy Arjan's ultra haze (can't remember #) and got a call later asking if the bud was laced with something, some chick wanted to go to the hospital after smoking it. I took it as a compliment, but kind of disappointing that he didn't trust me enough.
