Container Size

Hey guys. I was wondering if a 5 gallon container that is 13.00 inches diameter by 10.625 inches deep would be a good sized pot for growing a medium sized, single cola plant? Is that too squat?

I use 3 gallon (13.5 litre) pots as it gets difficult for me to get so much potting mix.
As it is I have to carry it 1 kilometre as I lost my license.
But unless you want to grow huge plants 3 gallon seems plenty.

Rule of thumb: 1 gallon of media per foot of plant. 5 foot plant = 5 gallon bucket It is also said that if a seedling plant has 4" or more to grow a tap root into it is more likely than not gonna be a female. (from Nirvana Seeds)
