Confused/Problems with humidity dome (cloning)

Okay everyone. I've got a seed starting tray with a heating pad, and I've cut 3 clones and them under the dome. The leaves from the clones touch the top of the lid, which is covered in water moisture.

I have not been lifting the lid at all, and I notice today that one of the clones is wilting.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I know that it must remain warm and moist otherwise, they'll dry up and die, but is it too moist?

PS, I've decided not to cut the leaves in half, as to further help the plant. I know some people say cut them to promote root growth, but also others say leave them, as the plant uses them for fuel.

I had the same issues with my dome. I wreked 3 my first try. I now allow them to pop up like an inch out of my plug then go right into my bucket. If your dome has vents you can open those as well....good luck

My dome doesn't have any vents. Should I cut some holes to allow for ventilation? Or should I just make sure it's opened for a few minutes a day?
