CO2- how long should it run? pics

I have a 25 lb CO2 tank, and have it set to run 2 times during light cycle, while all the fans are off.

I don't have any way to measure the CO2 ppm in the air, and was wondering how long it should run for. 10 minutes..half hour...hour..

The primary gauge read 800 psi, and the secondary reads 40 psi. I also have no idea what kind of run time this tank will have.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

How long is a piece of string?

Whats the flow rate?
Whats the orifice size of the nozzle?
Does the 40lbs drop when you open it up? And to to what? (stabilized)
Whats the room size?

methinks you jumped the gun too soon. Stop. read. learn. *then* do.

I don't know the flow rate, nor have a flow gauge. The tubing is standard 1/4" The psi drops to around 30 psi when the solenoid actuates. My room is 9' x 8', but only have 2 x 3 tray for now. I am aware I am not going to get precise atmosphere conditions w/o an expensive CO2 microprocessor/controller. I guess I just wanted to add a boost. I am no physicist, but pure co2 is more dense than air, so I figured If I blanket the plants a couple times a day, they would thank me later.

If anyone that's used a 20 lb tank before could tell me the total run time? The regulator is fairly standard, so the output pressures should be consistent.
