co2 fermentation method - does it work?

i have a closet setup with babies and 2 small plants in veg time.
i have tried the fermentation method in a gallon container and after about a day using the instructions posted in there to put the tube in a glass of distilled water to see if it bubbles nothing happened. after 3 days still no bubbles and same after a week....

anybody tried this method with good luck?

i hate those things..they spray tiny amounts of yeast through a straw or tube to create tiny amounts of c02 but all it did for me was raise my humidity and give me powdery mildew
