Closet Grow: Rokerji Sour Diesel, Samsara Crazy Miss Hyde, World of Seeds Strawberry

Rokerij Sour Diesel: Day 63 of 12/12



These were the pics that I took as I was harvesting the Sour Diesel. It was a fairly easy plant to trim compared to the others. I don't think that I am going to get the best yield off of this strain, but I am confident that it is going to be some descent smoke! I will post the final weight after it dries out, and I put it into jars to cure it. It won't be much longer now!

if i may ...a tip. Where you're drying the SD looks like a good idea ....however I'd clean out the bins. You don't want any dirt or any of the sort tainting your sticky buds.. know what i'm sayin. Just my opinion....

How are you liking the smoke from the Strawberry??

I know what your saying about the rubbermaid tote being dirty and getting on my buds, but they were hanging above the dirt and there were no problems with them getting dirty at all. I just finished trimming the Sour Diesel and putting it into jars a few minutes ago. I will be cleaning the tote out though, but it gets dirty because I use it as small veg box sometimes as well as a place to hang dry my buds. As far as the Strawberry Blue, it is pretty good. The taste didn't carry over from the smell, so I am somewhat disappointed with it. It is still some top shelf smoke that everyone that has tried has loved. That goes for the Crazy Miss Hyde as well. None of them turned out to be favorites of mine, but I still like them.

Sour Diesel Harvest Results

Jar 1: 27.3g
Jar 2: 19g
Total Yield: 46.3g

46.3g/28g= 1.65 Ozs

I am not impressed with this yield at all, but the quality of the weed is quite good. I actually thought I was going to get closer to 2 Ozs., but I was wrong and it is what it is! That makes my total yield off of the 3 harvested strains at just over 7 Ozs., but I still have my Chocolope going. It still has at least 3 more weeks before it is ready. I plan on letting it go a bit longer than I usually do with my plants. I am really looking forward to this one.

I decided to take advantage of the Attitude promos, and I feel like I did pretty well. I bought a 7 pack of OG Raskal Fem WhiteFire/Wifi and got a 5 pack of Reg White Fire Alien seeds free. Then I bought 2 Fem Big Buddah Cheese seeds, so I got the 4 freebie feminized UFO's. I also got the January promo which includes the DNA/Reserva Privada feminized freebies. I have been wanting to try out the OGR Wifi's for some time now, so I figured now was the time to splurge. I have also wanted to try a real deal Cheese, so I figured BB was the way to go. I guess I will see. Hopefully I get them in the mail without any issues. I have always received them without any issues, but I know that there is always that possibility that Customs will get lucky.
I fucking totaled my car Sunday morning and it was my fault, and I only have liability insurance. Needless to say I had already ordered these seeds before I wrecked my car. Lol! Anyways my luck isn't going all that well right now, since I am out of a nice 07 Ford Taurus. It wasn't the most expensive car, but I had taking real good car of it with up keep and shit. Now I have to look for another car, and I hate the whole process. I only have a week to find one, because that's all the longer I have the rental for. I have way to many responsibilities that I have to drive to to go without a ride. Fuck this suck! Sorry I am just trying to vent right now!
My harvest smoke turned out pretty well. It all smokes good and is all top shelf smoke. None of it turned out to be great though, so I will continue trying different strains until I find that perfect strain for me. I still have my Chocolope going, and I have high hopes for it because it smells delicious, and I think it looks good too. It will just depend on how it smokes. I believe that today was Day 50 of 12/12 for the Chocolope.

This plant was reaching over 5 feet in my closet and I had to hack the shit out of her to calm her down. She took it, and finished with flying colors!!

Looks really good! What breeder was your Sour Diesel from? There are so many diffferent breeder's with Sour Diesel along with clones from dispensaries, so you have to let a honkey where your Sour D came from? Lol! Thanks for the props on the journal upkeep too! It is a bit of work, buit I find it fun!

fuckin huge buds man. what nutrient regime are you using. did you get these seeds from somewhere?

So all of these strains have cured into something real nice already. The smells are just outragious now. I hadn't really realized it until I put a couple grams of each kind in a few small zip locks to take to my friends, and OMG the smell was so bad in my car. It just so happens that my friend was impressed with all 3 of the strains too. His personal favorite was the Sour Diesel. I can't really say which one I like the best. I think they are all pretty good. I think I'm more interested in seeing how this Chocolope turns out now. I think today is Day 55 of 12/12 for the Chocolope. It has a loud smell in the garden. It is a fruity smell of mango's and cannalope's with a little something else on the end. I don't really notice anything that reminds me of chocolate. Bummer! I have to admit that the chocolate taste or smell is why I originally got this strain, but I am happy with what I am looking at. Hopefully it will turn out nice. I will post pics whenever I go to harvest her, and I will give dry weight and shit as well. I will probably post some cured nug shots too.

I've been trimming up my Chocolope this morning and it is tedious trimming right here. The smell is fucking fantastic though. It is really something special. I think it smells like mango's and cannalope's with something else on the end that I just couldn't figure out what it was. Now I think it smells like those cookies and cream Hershey's bars. Very strong smelling! I have to admit that I am quite impressed with how this plant looks like it is going to yield, and I basically only grew this 12/12 from seed too. I can only imagine how much more I would've got had I grown it out with a nice veg period. I am glad that I have 5 more Chocolope beans. Lol! I will post pics later. This bud looks pretty gnarly too. It is a dark green color with these pale brown colored pistils. It has a nice amount of trichs on her but it isn't completely covered like some strains that I have grown.

I had the weirdest thing happen to me. I went to check out the Chocolope a minute ago, and when I started to feel the buds I realized that they were already crispy. How the hell can a plant dry out so fast you ask? I had the bud drying in a rubbermaid tote sitting next to a heating & cooling floor vent. At least that is the only reason that I can come up with. Anyways I am pretty bummed about this happening. It has fucked up my whole drying and curing process. It still smokes prett good though. I imagine that it would've been a bit smoother had it dried out properly.

These are the pics that I took before I chopped her down. She is a very stinky strain. The smell isn't really pungent though. It is quite unique. I don't know what my final harvest weight turned out to be. I imagine a little over an OZ though. It has a nice buzz and flavor when smoked too. Oh this strain doesn't like alot of nutes. As you can see mine is pretty burnt up. Lol! It was only about 2 ft tall too. All in all this was definitely something different for the pallet. It is definitely worth giving a shot.

This will be the last post on this particular thread for me. I have 4 small seedlings going right now though. They are 1 Feminized Reserva Privada Sour Kush AKA Headband, 1 Feminized G13 Labs Pineapple Express, 1 Regular Cannaventure Purple Berry BX2, and 1 Regular Cannaventure Mother's Mix. Normally I wouldn't even mess with a mixed pack of seeds like the Mother's Mix, but I have heard that there could be some gems in there. I had some issues getting the Purple Berry's to germinate. I had to use 4 seeds just to get 1 to germinate for me. That isn't a problem that I have had in the past either. Not off to a very good start on my first try of some Cannaventure beans. Anyways it will be a while before I start a grow journal on here for them. I don't think people really care how they grow in veg. Lol! Well, it has been fun and until next time!

My final harvest weight for my Chocolope was about 45 grams or just over 1 1/2 Ozs. Not bad for a 12/12 from seed. It was actually more than I had expected.

I finally got my beans today from Attitude. Yeahhhh! I got a nice little selection for my next few grows with all the freebies from the promos and the seeds that I bought. I went ahead and started to germinate one of my Fem OG Raskal White Fire's AKA Wifi's. I've been wanting to try this strain out for over a year now. I will put a link to my new grow sometime soon.
