Closet Grow: Rokerji Sour Diesel, Samsara Crazy Miss Hyde, World of Seeds Strawberry

I have just finished my 4th indoor grow a couple of days ago. I grew out some of Alphakronik's White Diamonds which was a shot in the dark, because I hadn't seen any journals or posts of any kind on that particular strain. I can say now that I am glad that I grew it. I'm still waiting on my 2nd plant to finish drying, so I get tally up my final overall yield. It won't be to shabby in my opinion. Plus it just looks frosty as hell. I am happy with the reults from these seeds, and their price was pretty cheap and for some reason I got 13 seeds when I believe that I only paid for 10 or 11. I can't remember for sure but that's besides the point.

Now for my new project. I had my World of Seeds Feminized Strawberry Blue, Rokerji Feminized Sour Diesel, and Samsara Seeds Feminized Crazy Miss Hyde vegging under a couple CFL's in my 20 gallon rubermaid tote for a while until they got to big for it, so I started taking them out and putting them under my HPS for 12 hours during the flowering cycle of my White Diamonds. Then when the HPS lights went off I stuck them under a CFL just to keep them from starting to flower until my WD's finished up. I ended up having to harvest my WD's earlierthan I wanted, but they were close enough to being finished that it didn't matter much. I changed my 400w HPS lamp to my 400w Metal Hylide lamp during the last week of flowering just becausew I thought the vegging plants needed it and I could instantly see the difference in how they looked after the lamp change. Now that they have been under the Metal Hylide they are all thriving. Each one of them are about 18" tall. Some are maybe an inch shorter. I have a DNA Genetics Feminized Chocolope going as well but it is nowhere close to the same size as the other 3 strains. It is still a seedling, but I plan to flower it with these 3 strains. I will have to veg it separately for a bit, but I will go ahead and flower this one small. I really just want to see what this strain tastes like. I have 5 more seeds of that strain left, so I can waste one by just shooting for a small yield. I am really looking forward to seeing what these strains are going to do for me. Hopefully they all turn out to be ladies. The past couple grows I got stuck with a hermie, and I had to work with 2 plants when I have room for more.

I wanted to go ahead and put the breeders info on all these strains that I have going this rip so here they are:

World of Seeds Legend Collection Strawberry Blue is Pure Strawberry stabilized with male hybrid New Blue Line. Strawberry Blue cannabis seeds can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors. Strawberry Blue is 75% Sativa, 25% Indica. Harvest time for flowering is 9 weeks indoors and middle of October outdoors. Yield for Strawberry Blue is 50-450gr/m2 indoors and 350-500gr per plant outdoors. THC Level is 20%. Strawberry Blue medicinal value is high..

Rokerij Seeds Sour Diesel Feminized FLOWERING TIME 9 WEEKS SIZE MEDIUM PLANT YIELD UP TO 600 Gr./Sqm SATIVA/INDICA 60%-40% Genetics: nSour Sage Cross Effect: unique kind of smell and taste like a mix of sour skittles and fuel. Immediately after the first hit you feel your head start to become warm and fuzzy. Very energetic, uplifting high that comes with some serious munchies!

Samsara Seeds Crazy Miss Hyde is an excellent hybrid, a blend of two varieties distinguished by their fragrances, sweet and very penetrating nuances. The original belladonna, is a cross of Superskunk and an F1 hybrid male, very powerful. At the same time, the cross between a male Northern Light Afghani x Skunk # 1 x Haze, makes it a small plant that produces huge flowers with thick amber buds, filled with clusters of resin. The results in both indoors and outdoors grow are excellent. This variety emanates a unique and embracing aroma at the end of flowering period. Crazy Miss Hyde has a berry flavour with a slight acid touch and produces a very physical brain effect that could even be dangerous.

DNA Genetics Chocolope Cannabis Seeds, which were originally named D-Line, are a novice grower's dream plant! With a uniquely heavy yield and large heavy nugs, the Chocolope is extremely easy to grow. This Sativa heavy plant likes to grow tall so beware if space is an issue, however she can grow out with a little training. We chose to cross our Original Chocolate Thai female with the Cannalope male, and then started backcrossing this to achieve a shorter flower time and still retain some of the Original Chocolate Thai qualities. What makes these Cannabis Seeds so special is that when you enjoy her you taste that chocolate you've been missing from the 80's! The DNA Genetics Chocolope is the "ONE"! Not much haze, but you don't need it.

Here are some pics of how they look as of this morning:

Looking good, I've been interested in obtaining Sour Diesel genetics but don't know which seed company to go through.
I'll be interested to see how yours turn out!

I know the Rokerji Sour D seeds were quite cheap, so I am not expecting much. But who knows, I may have a gem! This is the 1st Sour D strain that I have grown, so I can't give you any advice on what Sour D's are actually worth growing. Good Luck!

If anyone has experience with any of these strains, feel free to post pics, or even just your thoughts and experiences with these strains. I would love to hear from my fellow growers about them. I have seen a few Strawberry Blue journals and pics here recently and it looks like a very nice strain. I had bought a bag of some Strawberry Cough that was just superb bud! I fucking loved this shit. It smelled and tasted straight up like strawberries and skunk. It wasn't the most potent strain but it was some of the best tasting weed I have ever smoked. I'm not even for sure that I was truly smoking Strawberry Cough but that was what I was told that it was. I got this Strawberry Blue as a freebie and figured I would give it a whirl hoping that it would have that strawberry flavor that I had previously encountered with the Strawberry Cough. I'm not counting on it though from what I have read about it. It is still supposed to be good.

Another strain that I bought here locally that was some of the best weed as far as taste, smell, bag appeal, and buzz was some Sour Diesel. It was way stronger than the Strawberry Cough and the taste was sour but unique and exploded in your lungs with every hit. It was great, and I would love to find some Sour Diesel that is even close to as good as that shit was. But there are a shit load of breeder's out there with Sour Diesel seeds for sale with all different parental lineages. I think I got a clone only cut, but I have no way of knowing that either. I guess I 'm going to have to try every damn breeder's representation to find one that I like. Lol! I know the Rokerji Sour Diesel isn't a real Sour D because it is made from the Sage n Sour strain by TH Seeds I guess. They were cheap, so I figured what the hell. I lucked out with my cheap Alphakronik White Diamonds, so I know that an inflated price doesn't mean squat! Lol!

I really do prefer those strains that just expand in your lungs causing a coughing fit. The best representation of something like that that I have grown was the OG#18. If anyone knows some strains that have that lung expansion feel free to chime in!

you'll be quite happy with the strawberry blue .. the plant seems so uniform... Every one i've seen grown out on here has the same leaf shape and size.. very distinctive. As far as phenos for SB ..they were almost exactly the same plant. First crop was overfed in flower and took on a funky taste once cut... the second bean .. same growth ... about 3 oz per plant. short growth ( i topped at the second node) and GGGGRRRREEAT fucking flavor tangerine/tart/pungent stank ....and total UP sativa type high for both phenos i grew ... i was impressed.... pics are in my sig.

as far as heavy thick smoke strains .... NYCD is definitely a cough inducer for me . Trainwreck is heavy for sure... whatever i've gotten in the past that was super resinous and super dense always packs a punch to the lungs ...but IMO ...that's all those hydro nutes .. chem rock ..hehe.

I'm pretty excited about the Strawberry Blue. It looks nice and stout with nice green growth everywhere. I've topped her a few times and she took it like a champ. All 3 strains are looking nice and bushy. That's the way that I prefer my plants anyways. I like lots of smaller tops instead of giant colas. I find I get a better harvest with my small 400w this way. No worries about bud rot or mold either. I will probably veg another week or so under the 400w Metal Hylide. They are about 18" tall right now, so I don't want to wait much longer to throw them into flower. But they are just loving the metal hylide right now. All 3 strains have the praying hands with their leaves going on right now. That's how I know they are enjoying that metal hylide. Hopefully all 3 strains turn out to be females for me. It has been a while since I have been lucky enough to have 3 strains flower together. My past couple grows I have only managed to get 2 plants into flower because of hermies or males. I will just have to wait and see! Good luck with your grow too!

tanks bro ...although my growing days are on hold for the next 2-3 years (shitty laws). ..
a few things ..... and just and FYI i am by no means an expert.... have you ever tried topping for four main colas? you get better light penetration through the plant ..if you want them to bush out just supercrop them .... IME .... topping too many times hurts yields. topping once and then supercropping or tying down tops could give you a canopy that's more even while reducing the width you get from topping mulitple times. or if you're going for bushy ....LST works great... but whatever works for you cuzzz.

also ....SB is a beauty ... just keep her green in flower also ...seems like she loses alot once she gets flipped to 12/12. so keep the N up and try and be easy on the bloom foods ... they fried my first run (could've been my pheno though). SB seems pretty mold resistant.

also ....i love to see praying leaves also .... just make sure you aren't over watering. I'm sure you may know this already but when the leaves pray sometimes they're trying to transpire all the excess water in the plant... due to overwatering ...these are just things i've experienced in my grows. I'm sure you know what your doing though man ... all is looking good...
what size pots are you looking to flower in?

also ... if you can get your temps dialed in right ...i have no doubt that you could squeeze a 600 in there... give them babys more light, and give you more ganj. .....ok i'm rambliing on now ..... i'm subbed.

Your all good man. I get blazed and get to rambling on here sometimes myself. Lol! It's a no go on a 600w unless I cut some holes for an extraction fan, and I just don't want to do that to my place. Plus I don't want the extra $ on the electric bill. Not that the 400w is all that noticeable anyways, but I'm good with it now. As far as nutes I normally don't use much. I have some Botanicare nutes that I usually use 1 tsp. to a gallon of water whenever I decide to feed. Less is more from my growing experiences. I'm by no means a pro, but I don't have a problem getting a harvest everytime either. I'm just getting my shit worked out now trying to find that perfect strain for my pallet. I've found out that there are alot of strains to choose from and not nearly enough time to try them all.

I put my HPS bulb back in, and I am starting the 12/12 light cycle today as well. The Strawberry Blue and Sour Diesel are both about 22"-23" tall. The Crazy Miss Hyde is a little shorter at about 21" tall. They are all about the sime size around right now. Plus I want to get this batch harvested right after the New Year. I'm hoping that I will go 3/3 females, since they are all feminized seeds. I haven't been that lucky yet, but I have my fingers crossed. They all 3 look nice right now, so I imagine things will only get better as time goes on! The Chocolope is only 3 weeks old, but I think I'm going to go ahead and try to flower her out. I'm probably going to take a break from growing for a while. I've been getting paranoid about shit. Nothing has happened or anything like that, but I just want a break from the stress of it all. Man I wish they would just legalize the shit and be done with it!

They are coming along since the switch to 12/12. Not a whole lot of stretch going on that I have noticed. I'm glad that I vegged as long as I did now. The Strawberry Blue looks really nice. They are all starting to show some pistils forming. I still don't know if they are all going to be females yet. I'm going to try and go ahead and flower out the Chocolope. As long as I get something off of it to try out it will be worth it to me. There isn't any smell to speak of from them as of yet. No skunk smell if you rub the stems either. I realized with my last strain that they can still turn out bomb without a good smelling stem rub during veg. Although I do find that a skunky stem rub is a good indicator of some good bud. I will be transplanting the Chocolope into a 3 gallon pot to finish in. The other 3 strains are all over 2 ft tall now. The Strawberry Blue has a real nice looking plant structure to it. It has these big and fat stems that look like they can support alolt of weight. This plant looks just like all the other one's I have seen here on RIU. The leaves look exactly the same too. I'm probably looking forward to this strain the most out of the one's that I have growing atm. Well, I think this one has the most potential and I am expecting more from it. But Sour D is one of my fav strains, but I don't have any idea what to expect from it. Anyways here are some pics that I just took a few minutes ago.

Wooooord man! looking good. I forget what nutes i was using on my first run of SB, but i know my last run that gave me the best results i used the whole botanicare CNS line... I don't think i touched her with bloom foods except for maybe twice in small doses. I'd prefer organic nutes, but botanicare makes great foods. IMO. they seem very forgiving. but keep up the good work brotha! soooo fucking many strains, i've have yet to scratch the surface. What kind of strains do you prefer? ... a loaded question i know.

I have to agree with you on Botanicare nutes being forgiving. I used Miracle Grow until I bought some Botanicare nutes 2 grows ago. Ever since I started using them, I haven't had a single problem with my plants. I bought a 3 pk. of nutes that came with Power Plant, Power Flower, and Cal/Mag. It was only about $20 for them. Anyways I am sold on Botanicare nutes. So far they have worked wonderfully for me.

As far as strains that I like, I would have to say out of the ones that I have grown would be Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk, Greenhouse Seeds Super Lemon Haze, Reserva Privada's OG#18, and Alphakronik's White Diamonds. They were all top shelf smoke that I grew myself, and I would grow them all again! I really like all different types of strains, but I can get burnt out very easily on a strain though. So I like to change it up as much as possible.

All the plants are throwing out all kinds of preflower pistils everywhere. They all look to be females, but I won't know for sure for another 10-14 days. By then I will know for sure without a doubt what I got by then. I sure do hope that the 3 main strains all turn out female for me. I really would like to harvest all 3 strains this time. The Chocolope hasn't started showing any pistils yet, and I am not for sure if it even will. It was 3 weeks old when it was switched to the 12/12 light cycle, so I imagine that I can basically call this a 12/12 from seed. With that being said it may take a while before it starts to flower. That is just a guess though. I know that I cannot wait to find out either way. I would be stoked if all 4 strains flowered for me. Anyways I will keep you all posted. :eyesmoke:

Disaster Struck! I was all fucked up on a couple xanax bars and decided to mess around in the grow room. Somehow I knocked the 4 CFL's down onto my Strawberry Blue and it broke about a 1/4th of the plant off. :-( The bulbs on 2 of the lights broke as well. I'm so fucking mad at myself. You live and you learn I guess. Anyways everything is looking good besides that little hiccup. I will post some pics in a couple days.

I would say clone it but I know your situation on that so, hell you good, I got high and decide to take off the screen on my og 18 plant, pulled it right up, then didnt like that so put it back down, I expected something to go wrong with it but never did and this happen like 2 week in flower, so i think you good but lesson learned lol.

also kentucky ....i would do a little research on breaking cfls on or over plants .... they contain some serious fucking chems ..... the kind you definitely do not want in your lungs ... they are in fact poisonous .... however i'm not quite sure if the chems are something that can be hosed off so hopefully you're good.

just chalk it up as a lesson and save the bars for after your done working on the garden .... and then when you get that xannnie urge to go play with your plants after you've popped a few ....don't ... just stare at em ...

and make sure you close the tent ;)
