How long will it take for roots to set if you cloned? im using a heat pad with soil in a dome thats 100% Hum. How many days???10???a week???longer????

damm, not good .. it looks like out of 10 clones i checked 1 has rooted nicely, 1 ok, and the other 8 nothing!!! noy good, its been a week..they dont look good either...however 1 of my 3 seeds cracked (popcorn)...the haze, and indoormix did not crack yet, im getting worried...

Give them some more time. Sometimes clones can take 2 (or more) weeks to root.

You'll know when they are dead. Until this happens, just keep the medium moist (but not too wet), and remove the dome briefly once a day.

My most recent clone, I didn't use a humidity dome at all, and I kept it farther away from the light than the rest of the plant and it seems to be doing better than any clone I've made before. It never even looked wilted like some of my others have.

I think not using the humidity dome forces the plant to grow roots faster, the humidity dome lets it absorb water through the leaves.

I prefer to keep my cuts under a humidity dome, and I throw a layer of light black grip liner on top of the dome in order to allow very little light... It definitely seems to help in getting my clones up, and also prevents the tray from drying out too quickly...
