No experience with what you are asking but everything I've read said you shouldn't take clones while flowering. But people who have done this will hopefully let you know what to expect.

ive done it, it takes longer for the clones to turn to veg mode but its def. possible to do. but once you do it definetely make sure you change the light to 24 or 20 hours or its gonna get all fucked up,even herm. this can take 2 to 3 weeks to develope a good root system. but it does work, alot of people on here say dont clone when in flower but i have, only because i had some sick stands and couldnt get more and didnt wana grow bag seed. i have 4 right now and theyve been going for about 2.5 weeks they started slow but in the last half a week theyve really started goin crazy. good luck

last night i took eight cuttings for clones off my plants. how long will they need to be in a humidity dome before i can put them out with the rest of my veg plants?

I've cloned flowering plants... didn't pay attention to how long it tok... but it was definetly more than 14 days, while it should take 14 days maximum... should take about 8 days... about... but for flowered ones. id say at least 10 days. at least in the dome.

I have taken clones from plants 8 weeks into flowering, and had them root in 7 days, but they took another 3 weeks to completely revert to vegatative growth

thats my question now. i have 4 clones only in a cup of water. i have no rooting gel or hormones. they have been in the water for 4 straight days and have not wilted one bit. they came off the mother plant while 2-3 weeks into flower. There are 4 white hairs on each one. Like i said,4 days now and NOT dying,...will they magically grow roots eventually? or will they just at some point die?

they might somehow root... but before I knew about how to clone I tried a lot of times trying to root plants that way... and it never worked... home depot sells root hormone. its in a red box with a little plastic jar sticking out... the brand is sluts... or shultz? I dont knoew

cloning budding plants is not the way it is done. Reversion is necessary and it takes quit a while to get em growing again. Basically cause your screwing them over. Rooting in a glass of water will work but cloning in gro dan, vermiculite or soil medium before actually going into the soils and the use of rooting gel is how its done.

You set yourself way back there, and you are unnecessarily stressing the plant.

Next time, take your clones during veg, if you don't get enough, you are way better off growing mothers, then cloning them, better way same time, but only once. Start the mothers again when you need too.

Good luck

hey did i not say that people say not to do that? sometimes its your only option to use flowering clones and it definetely works so who cares just go for it. some people like to give there two cents, that dont help. we call them

hahaha/ i took the clones during flowering not for fun,..but because these particulaar few shoots were not growing the white pistils. the entire plant was covered, ..these were not. I considered them to be suckers? so i cut them off. didnt want to just toss them so i keep them alive in the cup o water. i will go get the rooting hormone gel,..then what? dip it in the gel and put them str8 in the dirt?
