Cloning from Fan Leaves

The facts are few and far between. It's an exciting idea that never developed. I saw one poster give it a shot. Let me get this right, you need to root a leaf, then each blade magically sprouts out a branch. Even if this were factual how do you seperate the 5 sprouts when they are all sharing a common root?

Hmmm Im watching but not following how this is benefitial? As said you have 5 new "clones all grown together with intertwinded roots and Im not sure which was right but though you said it woul take 2 weeks which is double the tiome to root clones normally as for me 3-5 days is average clone rooting in rockwool cubes. Also growing aero or hydro using standard rockwool cube this technique would be unusuable correct as youd have to sprout 5 new clones then cut them from the mass and then re root them each in individual cubes??

its also double the time of what he originally said

and if you look on the other thread with people trying this, after 2 weeks all theyve gotten was some dead fan leaves lol. FORGET THE HYPE!! ha

some plants will do and some will not even it it does it is not quick so what good is it?
The originator of the thread said the he can do it just as quickly as rooting normal clones.

I have a Q, hope you guys dont mind me bumping this thread.

I have a female in full flower and about to be harvest. Since it is rather large-ish and
we're heading into winter I would like to take cuttings from it and keep them going
through winter, I grow in the bush you see. Now I've read up a bit on cloning/cuttings
and this may sound like a stupid question as I'm new to cuttings. So here goes.... Do
it remove all the bud from the stem leaving the leaf attached to that node. Or do I leave
a small segment of the bud that has a growing point.

I'm a little confused as someone local has recommended removing all the bud, but to
it seems I would also be removing the growing point.

So sorry for interupting this thread, but I would really appreciate some advice.

I'm sorry to say but you can't take clones that are late into flowering

Thanks man, even though it maybe late. I still going to give it a go. Got
nothing to loss either way. But at least I'll know why when they dont
succeed.
