cloning flowering females

I have a female in the flowering stage, but unfortunately I don't have a dedicated mother of the same strain for cloning. Is it possible, or a waste of time, to try and clone this flowering female.

I'm planning on harvesting within the next week, and pretty sure that's the only time I'll be able to cut my clones.

Any insight would be appreciated.

you can take clones from her,now or at harvest
