Clones are "going limp" and I am noticing a dark, blackening of the fan leaves???

YO!

WTF!!!!

My beautiful beautiful head band clones are starting to croak!

How it began:

One morning I open my well circulated nursery I belt for my clones when I noticed a perfectly bright green clone completely LIMP and drooped over the side of the small container I have them growing in. The clones were produced in rockwool and i transplanted by covering in dirt.

A few days later I noticed a fan leaf was completely limp and pointing straight at the ground with the rest of the plant fine. I cut the what i thought was dying growth off and the next morning the plant was more limp. I noticed on the fan leaf that there was a blackening or darkness creeping up from the stem towards the tips of the leaves however the blackness only covered about 5% of the leaf.

I HAVE NOTICED ANOTHER HEALTHY BABY showing some signs of blackening at the same pointo n the fan leaves.

WTF?!?!?!?!

Thanks

If they're fresh cuttings, they need a lot of humidity to survive. Make sure they are in a humidity dome with some type of water to generate humidity. Just a thought but I'm not completely sure on this. I've had clones die because someone removed the humidity dome I had them in. You can try putting them outside sometimes they will bounce back (some of mine did).

Yeup moisture was def the issue! So i used this high drainage palm, cactus and citrous soil which drains and dries really well...when its dry its dry! this was simply a case of underwatering. however I have uped the humidity in my clone dome! Thanks for the info!
