But in all seriousness, you mess with the bull, you'll get the horns. At no point is a wild animal tame. Domestication takes thousands of years of selective breeding. Last I checked, there were no domestic chimps.

And giving it Xanax? The lady recanted on that a couple of days later when she realized how fucking stupid that was. Apparently the lady that was attacked got most of her face ripped off and her hands mangled. Personally, I believe the real victim here is the chimp. I have no sympathy for either of those ladies. Pure fucking stupidity at its finest.

hahaha i see them all the time. on a daily basis. i go to school there are alot of them there. i come home and there are some in my neighborhood and i go get bud and my dealer and his girl are just domestic chimps.

So....in the future, class,we now know that Xanax does NOT mellow chimps out.Please stick to quaaludes.

I think by sleeping with the monkey, she meant that the monkey slept in her bed, I don't think it means she had sex with the monkey.

i think its great! the only way there could be a better headline would be if i opened the paper and right there on the front page it said, 'Hippopotomus Eats Dwarf'

I always try to make sense of these kinds of stories. You know, a lesson learned or something. This story is just so sad. The woman that was mauled will now need a face transplant, her friendship with the chimp owner will now be severed. The chimp is dead....This is just one sad story.
I guess though the lesson here is: people should not try to keep exotic animals as pets. But, I believe this chimp was grandfathered in.

She should have known it was dangerous to keep a chimp as a pet. Chimps are strong as hell and they can rip a human limb from limb. It was a dumb move on her part for sure.

When I was kid one of my friends had a pet chimp. Her parents bought the chimp for her for Christmas. It was sooooo cute, it would wear diapers and clothes and we would do tea parties with this chimp on a regular basis. Then one day during a tea party the chimp decided to chomp off one of the kids fingers. It was terrible. The chimp was gone after that, I don't know what happened to him. Why are people so dumb?

This was 30+ years ago. It was people with money to burn...I remember my mother saying that it would end with disaster and it did.
