you might have worked this out but there are plenty of differing opinions regarding how to look after and grow weed!, there are lots of different methods and people on the forum have got there own particular ways of doing things, this is where you have to take what you can from each bit of information and put your own ring too it, theres not really anything wrong with what anyone is saying as they will all have had success with there own growing style. i personally dont agree with flushing but the thing that stands out about bublochronics point is that he is only flushing with pure water and also only flushing with the pot size of water, not three times as much like so many say on the forums.
all the information you need is in the thread now so good luck with getting your plants sorted. you will probably have to use the garden lime as thats the only one i could get hold of aswell, from the same place.
everyone has given you good advice good luck putting it into practise and sorting your plants out.

your right man, so many options on how to grow! these girls right here are day 15 12/12, i was suppose to flush today, but just been lazy, so ill prolly do it tomorrow, but even if i didnt flush at all im sure growth would still be good, just not as explosive as it could be, anyway, here some pics of my soil organic ladies and some SuperLemonHaze i been burnin :eyesmoke:

those plants do look nice no doubt, out of curiosity , how many watts you burnin and about how much do you yeild on average? and what week r they? but anyway, i dont flush food away, my plants eat it all, then the waist left over gotta go...with a flush...im not saying a plant will not grow without being flushed every 2wks, but from what iv noticed, shit grows alot faster, so i imagin shits more accesable
i yield 5 pounds per 2000 watts i run 10,000 watts with C02 and 4000 watts of exhaust power gravity feeding my rooms with fresh air like a vacumm cleaner here is 2 diff room pics

just started week 5 at 1600 ppm will be 1850 ppm by week 7

C02 is a must if you want to yield anything i can say easy 40 percent more yield then none i use promix soil, with sheep manure, and shrimp compost as well as little peatmoss they say sheep manure is hot but MJ plants go nuts over it my nutes are all hydro Advanced nutes with lots of other suppliments added not only for plant but for soil as well
I like spending time with my girls so i manually water which takes always 4 - 6 hrs
i found that if you water your plants throughly like many do you drown your rooting system and it slows your growth but only adding like 1/2 litre to them every 4- 5 days plants will be more healthier specially in flowering stage

Using co2 in veg will cut your time in half.

Nice grows.

Iv done hydro, as I'm sure drfever has aswell....soil is where the high quality is, hydro might shave a couple days off flower and make ur herb smell like hay and taste like poo

Right, got some garden lime, could not for the life of me get the dolomite stuff so I hope this suffices. I got some big pots too, at least 3 times the size of these ones I've got now. Tonight I do the 'umberella transplant', no doubt I'll crap my pants doing it. I just had another good look at the plants and the yellow really is spreading so I'd love to see this work and I really don't see why it won't.

Also, love the screenshots of all that juicy bud, it looks good enough to eat, makes my mouth water just looking at it.

Thanks for the well wishing and replies all, truly appreciated. I'll keep the thread updated with my progress.

Seeing as normal garden lime has less magnesium in it should I supplement the lime with a bit of epsom salts or just leave it as is?

dood....mg is a micro nutrien....you really shouldnt have any mg problems unless your using RO water, or your soil is LOCKED OUT...i dont know where you live but im sure your tap is good enought for a plant that size, under that light...FF soil is great by itself, expecially if you plan on feeding yourself...

Ive grew the cheese for years, dont think ive ever had a grow with out these deficciences.
Pull them off, people will give there opinion,Ive grown this for like 8 year and know it.
Its a strong plant, you have a lot of good leaf so pull them off, most seem at the bottom which is pretty much the standard.
You can cut in half or cut them off (just the leaf.
You might want to consider lollipopping too but its up to you.
Your pots do seem small and from experience,I use 90l buckets Hydro for 1 plant and they use a good 30l every other day in flower so it could be that there eating the water quick.

Bublonichronic mate, if it's lock out I'm hoping this transplant will help, the lime should stop future lock outs as long as I balance things properly e.c.t That's the plan at least.

Rixuk, at the moment I'd say a fifth of the plant's leaves are yellowing, have you ever had that many leaves go yellow on you and still grew a good plant? If yes then that give me a bit of relief. I have new pots now so they should start to thrive when I swap them. I'll look into what lollipopping is later:), thanks.

splendid the problem might get a bit worse b4 it gets better, dont panic if it does. the repotting and lime(ph) are gonna help but the plants may be a little shocked by the repot. but if you would have left it as it was without doing these things it probably would have only got a lot worse.
the reason i was getting my problems was i was using the proper 6.5 ph stuff from the aquarium shop, it was stripping the chlorine out of the water and it was stripping a lot of the micro nutrients aswell, so if anyone tells you to use that in future dont, you shouldnt need any thing anyway now you have the lime. i use the same stuff as you and it works fine, calm down with the epsom salts aswell, use too much and thats gonna cause problems of its own.
do you know anyone you trust that can help you with the repot as it would make it a lot easier, be careful and take your time doing it and if your roots are knotted up in the bottom of the pot just give them a small tear, this will help in establishing a new root system in the new pots, im no expert so maybe one of the other guys can give you help with that bit.
good luck and hope it all goes ok.
bublo that looks like some nice stuff your smoking at the minute, i have to wait for my latest stuff to cure another week.
dr fever your grow room looks like the one in harry brown, nice one!

Man, I thought I was giving people rep points by pressing the ''like'' button, I'll backdate:)

Thanks, Luciferateme. I'll prepare myself for root shock

Well, the deed is done, I transplanted them all into the same size pots in the pic below so if the size of the pots are anything to go by by buds should get some big muscles if I do things right. The transplant was really easy, they came out of their pots as smooth as silk.

Before I add this lime I'm wanting to ask about dosage, I know it was mentioned a few pages back but now that people can see the pots I'm using I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how much I should put in each pot? I believe you just massage the powder into the top two inches of the soil? Would about 8 tbl spoon fulls per pot sound about right?

Just thought I would add an update to the situation. Things are good, I no longer get yellowing and buds are budding. I did get white leaf tips a few days ago so I'm holding back on the nutes. I've learned a lot on this grow, I think next time I'll be able to avoid these same complications I had. I'll post a new pic in a couple of weeks.

Thanks agian for the help.
