i grew some barneys farm blue cheese 80/20 ind /sativa, i love it its great indica smoke.. strong stoney happy buzzzzzzz, not sure if i can taste blueberrys in it tho..

i think the cheese is less indica more 50/50 indica sativa (i think!)
so i guess it would b good day and night time smoke..

ive gone for blue cheeze because i prefer indicas.
I also am an indica lover. I've got some Northern Soul and Blue Cheese flowering right now. However, I bought a 5 pack of Barneys Farm Blue Cheese, (fem>). I don't know what kind of seeds they put in the packet I got, but it's not Blue Cheese. What I have growing is definitely a sativa, though I have no idea what the strain is. I am pretty pissed off actually because I'm not a fan of sativa highs and when I was in Amsterdam last March I smoked the BC and it got me wasted real good!! :weed:

And these things are still growing after having been on 12/12 now for 4 weeks. I'm running out of space in my room and am getting close to freaking out. Most people would look at the plants and start drooling. They are thriving, but they're not Blue Cheese. It better be some pretty freaking good weed. Peace :peace:

You are totally right I have 3 going right now and the look very sativa. Mine are 21 days since germination. They are amazing little bushes with many many underlying branches already. I am actually going to be able to clone one or two tops tonight. I have been feeding them on most watering 5-10-5. Amazingly easy to grow stuff. But more sativa than indica.

The description on the website just said it was a mix and did not give %s.

So they are getting pretty big in flowering still huh? I might think of putting clones right into 12/12 if I want to keep them at 12-15 inches, you think?

If I were you, I would definitely go into 12/12 right away. I've got 4 of the Blue Cheese going and 1 Northern Soul. (I have 1 of the BC in a 5 gallon pot, the other 3 are in 6 inch pots and the NS is in a 5 gallon pot). I started them all from seed. And only 3 weeks into it, the BC in the big pot just took off and I had to put them into 12/12. The NS is looking great. Another 6 weeks and she'll be ready. But the BC.....I mean it looks like a forest in my grow room. Oh well. I'm gonna end up with a hell of a lot more than I had planned and that's a good thing!! Peace

PS: Coke and Smoke. I heard the same thing after I had ordered the Barneys Farm Blue Cheese. I shoulda gone with Big Buddha.
PPS: I'll post some pics when I get my new camera in a few days.

I got the big buddha blue chees. They are a few different phenos. Some indica some sativa. I have one in a 5 gallon bucket at day 29 of budding. It smells so good and is frosty but it is definately a big bush.

I prefer the GH Cheese over Barneys or Budahs Cheese. GH is a cross of KushXCheese and the other two are AfghaniXCheese. I wish GH had a BlueCheese. The Blue Cheese is good smoke and does have a sativa growth appearance because of the Afghani which has long slightly narrow leaves. When Afghani is growing it looks a lot like SuperSilverHaze! Dont be fooled its still mostly Indica and gives a good body buzz. Its hard to go wrong with any of the Cheese crosses. The Blueberrys taste is not that noticeable because the Cheese is so strong but you do feel the affects.

ive grown some blue cheese by barneys farm... cloned and grew, and harvest 3 times already...i always grow them with a few different strains as well... they realy didnt get that tall for me not like a sativa plant anyways... i dont know if its different from big buddua though it might be.... but if you flush good and cure good i think its one of my favorites! if you do it right you can diffently smell and taste the blueberry and lots of crystal formation

so i would pick blue cheese even though ive never grown regular cheese

i agree. this is my 2nd time i have grown blue cheese and the 2nd time ive had problems. my other plants (diff strains) have been fine. blue cheese is so sensitive to everything. plus the yeild hasnt been that great along with the smoke.

i think now that i have tried it, i will stick to what i know so to speak.
