Toltal harves weight for 30 plant was about 1200 grams :-o:weed:

the pics are not in order but ill try to explain the the first pics are the plants a little before harvest. the pots with the little guys in them in the one left tray are the new batch i got going(super Lemon Haze) and the horror show is a BLOWN up lumatek bulb, it fucked up my socket on my hood and there was melted glass from the bulb it was crazy.

I urge you guys not to buy lumatek bulbs, they are DANGEROUS!!!

Looks real good man. Nice yield for 30 plants. How long did these veg and what nutes were used. I run the same bulbs and ballasts as you know and have not had any issues yet what so ever. Where is the air that goes through the hoods being pulled from? My room is in a basement and I pull the air from outside the room (basement air) through the hoods then discharge it right back into the basement. My only thought is condensation building up or faulty wiring (overloaded circuit???). I run 3 lights on 1 20amp circuit and my other 3 lights on another 20amp. I think this is a minimum for these lights...any more lights for 20amps is too much and any less and any less amps (15amp) would need less lights (2 lights per 15amp breaker). This is just a couple guesses. Either way, be careful man. Hate to see such a sweet room go up in flames.

On a different note can u give me full details on your c02 setup? Like tank size, controller, any sort of hardware you need to run it. I am new to c02 and I really want to learn so I can buy some stuff.

Thanks and again great grow. I'll get some more detailed pics up asap for ya (if you don't mind me posting here cause I dont feel like starting a thread)

hey med head i took these pics just for you... its my co2 setup. im using a 20 lb tank with a cap regulator and a cap ppm-4 controller... that particular controller is the CHEAPEST on the market today at just over 200 bucks i think, but it still works great and also has a 5 year warranty. it keeps the room at about 1500 ppm so if you want to go the cheap way you should definitely got with that. I pipe the co2 from the tank to my two oscillating fans and inject it right into the back of them. and here is a link to the cap ppm-4 monitor/controller -------> http://www.horticulturesource.com/product_info.php?products_id=9189

i think on the whole setup (tank, regulator, and monitor/controller) i spent about 450 to 500 bucks. hope i helped good luck

the tank cost 15 bucks to refill and i am lucky if it lasts a week (usually only about 5 or 6 days though)

Awesome man! I have my Hydro shop looking into prices on the exact same setup right now...so far online I found all the same stuff for about $450 shipped (seems like a good solid investment to me).

As for pics of my room...well, my grow is not at my house and I keep forgetting my camera but here are a few snaps to give you an idea.

It's kinda hard to see in the pics but it is 6 lights (ballasts mounted outside the room with wires going up through the ceiling), two 16'' oscillating fans, a scrubber in the corner, a hepa filter on in the back corner to filter intake air, an 8'' exhaust fan is mounted outside the room with an ozone generator discharging the exhaust air out the chimney, and two 8'' fans to cool the hoods. Each cooling fan pulls air from a hole cut in the back wall through all the hoods and exhausts the hot air from the hoods out the room on the other side into the basement. Upstairs you can not smell or hear a thing. The major downfall in my opinion is the room size is only 8' x 13' and a ceiling height of 6' 8'' which leaves me about 2 feet on each side of my table if I move them around (they are on wheels).

Sorry for the lengthy description but I do appreciate you showing off your room and Co2 for me.

EDIT: The pic of the veg room is old. I now have two veg rooms. Each is about 4' x 6'. One for cloning and one for mothers.

How do you cool your lights? I mean, how many cfl does your fan that is connected to the lights move? I have a 400cfl fan on 3x600w HPS with 4" ducting, but I am wondering of I should get a 700 or a 1000 instead. How do you manage to get your room so cold when you dont have any fresh air coming from outside?

ive herd from some people that 250 cfm per 1000w light is sufficient. me i hve 3000w (5 X 600w) and i have a 750 cfm vortex cooling them. And as for the heat thing if you look back in my thread pics you will see i run a regular old window a/c. but keep in mind that if your 400 cfm fan is having to move around 90 degree turns it greatly reduces the cfm, so depending on that its your call. Also i have a thread on how to make a "heat shield" for your hoods for cheap, it help cool my room down so maybe you should try it. -------LINK----> https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/415047-diy-heat-shield-vent-able.html

Awesome grow!
haha I especially like how you modified your sprayer with that extension hose to make foliar feeding from underneath the leaves easier I suppose?
