Ill follow this one. Check mine out. What kind of plants are you doing here? What soil are you using, and what's your strategy gonna be for moving them outside?

subd to this one. looks like itʻs going to be a promising outdoor grow with all the plants you have. Im a fan of outdoor grows myself because they seem more unique than hydro systems and HIDʻs. I like the love put into outdoor plots ya dig? anyways good luck with this one. keep us updated!

thanks str8, I put most of them out about a week and a half ago, they got snowed and frosted and I assume that most of them are dead

Thanks B2, I just started them in regular potting soil and a coco coir starter tray... it was a huge mistake the soil was too heavy and the tray/pots made of coco did a good job of stunting and root binding them. When they went outside in a cardboard box and stayed in it overnight (with the lid up) and then into the ground (1.5ft holes W. promix blend)

hi yim, nope, just a few CFL's and there is no pre transplant setup... all that stuff is being done in the bush.

Not a fan of the coco pots eh? I've noticed a few of my girls slowed down when the roots started getting to the jiffy pots....not sure if I'll be using them again. I'd love to see some pics!

Hey B2, click on my name, there are links to my journal and to my photo album. There are about 50 pics and a dozen journal entries. The roots will grow through eventually but it's not great for the plants. I used the smaller tray style ones and it took over a month for roots to penetrate a square inch and a half peatpot.

checked out the journal, everything looks great man. I had a few in the smaller peet pots and they are definitely some of the stragglers . The larger jiffy pots seem to be doing alright, however. My Casey jones are getting pretty big in them; I can see an occasional root popping out from time to time. I'm gonna try getting the pots really soaked before I plant to see if I can break off as much extraneous jiffy pot as possible.
