ok so i was trying to figure out how to do a cfl flowering room in my closet, which i also have a 24 hour floro for veg, so i hung a black out curtain in a 3 foot cubby space in my closet, and i got some cheap ass plastic ballast that plug straight into a socket for like 1.27 a piece, i got three, and three cheap plastic light socket splitters for like 1.50 a piece, and a bunch of soft white cfls and 3 1.27 6 foot extension cords and hung them up, and a timer for like 7 bucks anyways i ended up spending like 30 bucks and got lots of light, thought yall might like that, for you cheap bastards like me

You do have some light there. Is that a 4' flourescent?? How many plants are you planning?? DO you just have the lights raised to show them better in the picture?? VV:blsmoke:

looks great....nice neat setup....were you thinking of adapting some some of reflector....lost light is possibly worth capturing....maybe one of those interior dashboard/windshield reflectors? good luck!

Try mylar instead of aluminum foil. Aluminum foil only reflects about 50% of the light while mylar has the ability to reflect up to 92-97% of the light. When using both make sure to have no creases, or you could easily create a hotspot.

be careful with aluminum foil....it can create foci of reflection that can cause burning....

well i just heard using that mirror is a bad idea cause it sucks up too much of the useful kind of light or something like that, not sure how well things are going for my clones

plain white or some other plastic reflective material (Mylar, panda film, folyon) seems to be the best choices
