Purchased a 600w dimmable lumatek from them for $180 yesterday and received an e-mail from them today reading:
"The comments for your order are: Thank you for your order with www.urbansunshine.com. Unfortunately, there was an issue with our paypal account at the time of your order. We did not receive any payments from 2/12/11 to 2/13/11. Please check your account to see if there was a payment deducted from your account, and if so void/cancel it right away. You can also call paypal at 1-888-221-1161. The payment should have gone to [email protected] any other account would be incorrect. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience this causes. "
Ouch! Their paypal got hacked and redirected! Called up paypal and they said that the transaction had gone through and to call the seller. Called the seller and they very politely apologized for everything and asked for my phone number to call back after consulting paypal again.
30 minutes later they called back and asked that I file a grievance with the transaction and immediatelly offer to send my ballast out right away with upgraded shipping. The guy on the phone told me that within 10 days paypal should investigate and send back my money and at that time I should call back to pay for my order with a 10% discount.
Guy's just been robbed and still willing to send out my gear at his expense and discount it.
IMO they have pretty good deals on nice items so might as well check them out: http://www.urbansunshine.com/
