Just got the word that Chaos and some others will be at the Michigan High Times cup, raising funds for victims of our laws..
I've been checking out LED's too. It looks like they're some what reasonably priced if you have the know-how to build them yourself. I don't. My eyes glaze over when I start watching those vids. So, I've decided to go with the 630 watt LEC's to replace my 1000 watt HID's. Probably not as efficient as LED's, but there will still be some energy savings.I've checked some of the vids out but it all seemed very foreign to me. When I move and begin building my room I will be watching and learning from those vids. if you want to send me some links for parts I would be very appreciative.
exactly how I felt watching the vids and reading through the led forum. not familiar with lec's but if if i have good instructions I don't have a problem building stuff. Energy savings is a definite plus but I am going to try to be efficient as possible when I build my new room so leds will definitely be the way to go if I can manage itI've been checking out LED's too. Good luck! I know my limitations though, and building shit is one of them. Shoulda seen me trying to put together my Costco shed last weekend.exactly how I felt watching the vids and reading through the led forum. not familiar with lec's but if if i have good instructions I don't have a problem building stuff. I've looked into all the different pre built leds and it's hard to tell good from crap. At least for me it is.There are some great pre-built lights on the market now, just plug and play or you could have someone build it for you if you want something more custom.
That is why I haven't dropped the cash on a prebuilt one . I'd get one that was 2 years behind or something. LolI can tell from reading the specs in a couple minutes, there's only a handful that I would recommend at the moment, the majority are crap or older tech.
Nine lights ! That is a nice setup thereJust plugged in the new light 5 minutes ago over the two Chaos BX2's.
I guess its a good thing Josey wasn't "raising money for good causes". Lol..unbelievable.Raising money for good causes.
