if the plant is strong enough with a well established rootmass then you should be able to pop it out of its pot and gently rinse off most of that MG crap, ...a big bowl or bucket for dipping it up and down comes to mind.

...or you could just pop it out of it's pot and crumble as much of it off as you can before you re-pot.

you can do as bozo suggests, but you will probably shock the plant doing it....

probably your best bet is to just transplant into your new soil and finish the plant, then next grow you can do all organic soil...

if you want to completly change all the soil then do as bozo says, you will shock the plant a little and it will take a couple days for it to come out of it but the plant will be fine. just get a 5 gal bucket and use room temp water, not hot or cold, fill the bucke tup with water and just knock as much soil as you can off before putting it into the bucket of water. place plant in bucket of water and aggitate root mass lightly to knock off as much of the old soil as you can.....place in new soil and should be gtg. you might want to use a stick or something to help prop the plant up after transplant as the roots dont have a foothold in the new soil and it will easily tip over in the first couple days. the roots will quickly take to thier new home and grow pretty quick.

gl and happy growing

I did keep it in but when I water still get a little burning do to that miracle grow crap another question what up guys recommend for nutes for flowering stage and I got some fish emulsion for veg but don't want to use it until all this bad soil is gone

I totally 100% agree with this. Washing all the soil off the roots will shock the plant and may even kill it but these are tough plants also when replanting you will smash the loose root mass all together, not good and can cause root rot. Just transplant and knock off all loose soil before going into the new soil and finish it out.

...not so grasshopper, roots are tougher than you think.

^^ Yes but you left a good portion of the root mass intact and in soil plus you cut the plant way down and revegged. Totally different that trying to swap out soil, leaving the roots bare and clumped together and pick up in the same place. I would just leave them plants in the MG soil, do a good flush the last 3 weeks of flower, dry them slowly and cure slowly for the best results and you should be fine. Next time just use a good soil from the start. My first grow I used Kellogs soil and had fungus issues but you grow and you learn.

flushing makes things worse in soil with time-released nutes my friend so rinsing off the roots is still the best option for the question posed by the original poster, ...none of that other stuff you mention is germane to the issue at hand.

btw, i've done exactly what i've recommend myself, if i hadn't i'd not be recommending it.

were not dissagreeing that its going to shock the roots, but it also will not kill the plant. what do you think people do with rooted clones from a aero cloner? the plant it right into the soil clumping the roots and they do just fine.
I have also taken a plant (right out of the ground outside) ripped it up just like you would a weed, shook off the roots and put it in a plastic bag for transport. it sat in the bag ofr almost 24 hours before i got around to planting it into its new pot and within 1 week it started growing like crazy.

if you dont believe me/us go ahead and try it, i gaurentee you will not kill the plant so long you dont use a cake mixer to agitate the soil off the roots in the water, as i said above "gently agitate" and he dosent need to make sure every spec of dirt is off the roots just most of it

and when he repots heres a diagram.

make sure you dig down fairly deep into the container so your not just setting all the roots into a big shallow pile...

you have alot of luck using them peat pucks Bozo? i tried cloning in them and never really got good results.
i've never actually used them, i sow my seeds directly into 9oz cups of straight coco and i also clone in either the same cups of coco or i use the ice-tube-tray method, depends on how many clones i need.

btw, there are many who will hate on the ice-tube-tray method because it seems too simple to them but this method is adapted from an old thread from the old OverGrow days, before they got shut down and i promise you it works like a charm.

...here, here's a link to the thread where i learned it and i promise you man, if you follow just a few simple rules you WILL master cloning.

World class cloner new at walmart

and this thread is still going strong after 6 years, ...trust me, for a $10.00 to $15.00 dollar investment you will be generating more clones than you can use in very short order, ...and i mean any time you need clones you will KNOW how to get them, ...you won't have to hope 'cause you'll know. ...i can't tell you how much peace of mind that gives you!

i have tried several methods and im onto rockwool cubes, clonex, propogator and seedling heating mat and seems to work really well. i will give that threat a look. I used to use aero cloner but something was off and it wasnt working...instead of trying to sherlock holmes it i just went on to a new method.

to the OP sorry to jack your thread, hope all works out well with your transplant and your on your way to some nice :leaf:

Ok I see the point. I do cram the roots of my clones into the soil when I plant them and there is no harm done so yeah when I think about it I can see it working and not killing the plant, these plants are really tough and can take a lot of abuse. When I had the fungus issue with the cheap soil I transplanted 2 plants into larger containers and shook off as much of the crappy soil as I could then replanted and they where fine but I did not go as far as to expose bare roots.
