I was using miracle grow and now I changed to organic soil and I want to know the best way to change my pots and get rid of that chemical slow release. my plant is a month old need help please
if the plant is strong enough with a well established rootmass then you should be able to pop it out of its pot and gently rinse off most of that MG crap, ...a big bowl or bucket for dipping it up and down comes to mind.I was using miracle grow and now I changed to organic soil and I want to know the best way to change my pots and get rid of that chemical slow release. my plant is a month old need help please

...or you could just pop it out of it's pot and crumble as much of it off as you can before you re-pot.
peace, bozo
I totally 100% agree with this. Washing all the soil off the roots will shock the plant and may even kill it but these are tough plants also when replanting you will smash the loose root mass all together, not good and can cause root rot. Just transplant and knock off all loose soil before going into the new soil and finish it out.you can do as bozo suggests, but you will probably shock the plant doing it....
probably your best bet is to just transplant into your new soil and finish the plant, then next grow you can do all organic soil...
...not so grasshopper, roots are tougher than you think.I totally 100% agree with this. flushing makes things worse in soil with time-released nutes my friend so rinsing off the roots is still the best option for the question posed by the original poster, ...none of that other stuff you mention is germane to the issue at hand.^^ Yes but you left a good portion of the root mass intact and in soil plus you cut the plant way down and revegged. Totally different that trying to swap out soil, leaving the roots bare and clumped together and pick up in the same place. I would just leave them plants in the MG soil, do a good flush the last 3 weeks of flower, dry them slowly and cure slowly for the best results and you should be fine. Next time just use a good soil from the start. My first grow I used Kellogs soil and had fungus issues but you grow and you learn.
were not dissagreeing that its going to shock the roots, but it also will not kill the plant. what do you think people do with rooted clones from a aero cloner? the plant it right into the soil clumping the roots and they do just fine.^^ Yes but you left a good portion of the root mass intact and in soil plus you cut the plant way down and revegged. i've never actually used them, i sow my seeds directly into 9oz cups of straight coco and i also clone in either the same cups of coco or i use the ice-tube-tray method, depends on how many clones i need.you have alot of luck using them peat pucks Bozo? i tried cloning in them and never really got good results.
No or not jacking I'm actually learning a lot of things from you guys what do you recommend for food for veg and floweringi have tried several methods and im onto rockwool cubes, clonex, propogator and seedling heating mat and seems to work really well. i will give that threat a look. I used to use aero cloner but something was off and it wasnt working...instead of trying to sherlock holmes it i just went on to a new method.
to the OP sorry to jack your thread, hope all works out well with your transplant and your on your way to some nice
