Chances of Guerilla Garden Compromised?

I am planning on guerilla growing in a wooded area surrounding a city.

What are the chances of it making it to harvest? (not be stolen, discovered, die etc)

No one knows. I've never seen a study on percentage of hidden outdoor grows that get discovered. The plants need a lot of light so it can only be so wooded. They also need regular watering, unless you're talking about a rain forest. How likely are you to be seen going to check on the plant? If it becomes dry in the area, will it be suspicious if you're seen with a big watering can entering the woods? What are you going to do to prevent them from being chewed up by wildlife in the area? Will you be applying pesticides, and visiting regularly to make sure pests don't kill the plants?

More than once I've read about and seen grows get busted cause cops or someone, saw a guy going into a wooded area with gardening equipment. On the other hand, I've known of successful grows in wooded areas, but the forest was huge, human traffic non-existent and nowhere near a city.

Take the number of pot heads in your city and divide by 4,that will be the number looking for a spot also.If it is in a park that is used by alot of people you stand a good chance of being found.
To reduce your loses, plant two plants in a spot and spread them out.The chances of someone finding all of your spots is slim, unless you tell all of your freinds.
I know of people who have grown on private property who have had their plants found and reported by people trespassing.Find the most remote spot you can with no trails for people to use. This will keep all of the hikers away, but then the growers are looking for spots just like this.If you have a gps use it to mark your spots.OPH

Slim. But if it pans out, keep your mouth shut full term. a good uerilla spot is worth its weight in gold.

spot out a few spots and see which pan out. The dollar bill 'bait trick' can give you a heads up.
