The plant dyed during the power outage :/ However, I got 3 more seeds and am feeling confident for my 6th attempt at growing. Also got some nice soil mainly composed of earthworms castings. Hoping it does better than the MG did.

why not mount lights Horizontally???
that set up seems odd to me? i'd up grade your lighting perhaps a set of T5 or T8's ... with chains or yoyos.. or move those CFLs up overhead. get some mylar to line the area. that will help with light leaks and lumen coverage. just doesnt' seem like the space is being used to its potential. Loose the MG.. go with a organic light mix with . Seelings like light aerated soil.. consider adding some Perlite. you should be on 24/0 NOt 12/12.... just some advice based on what i've seen in the 50 pages of trials and tribulations.. Good luck..

I am no longer using MG, i am using a nice potting mix. Lights are on 24/0 and lights will be mounted horizontally this weekend.

Day 18. Transplanted them from solos into 2 gallons. This will be their final point. Getting a little tight in the box, tobacco will be out by Christmas. Decided to cut down the side of the solo cups so they transplant went great. Roots had been bound for atleast a day as they were circling on the bottom. Lights are a little high, but should be fine.

Day 25, topped it yesterday and trying to clone a segment off of it. The plan is to flower these at around 5-6 weeks of veg, after christmas. Going to root the clone and flower it seperatley and hope for 1/4 out of it. It should show sex in veg by week 6. Praying for atleast one female.

Day 31, still no sign of sex. The clones i took have root bumps, but no roots. Little bit of nute burn this week, but flushed and now they look good. I want to finish in these 2 gallons, but it definetley won't give me a good yield. I really want to lst the bigger one, but I need to find out the sex first.

Going to tighten the zip ties tomorrow. Not sure where to go from here, do i just keep adding zip ties untill it circles the container? If it confirms that it is a female I'm going to SCROG.

Day 34: Lst'd cropped and super cropped. Got rid of some of the ugly fan leaves that were burned. It looks barren, but in a few days the inner-nodes will take over and she'll be looking good. The clones on her don't look too bad, the roots are finally starting to grow. Tobacco should be gone soon.
