Ya man when I got it all done and set up and I ran it for a few hours and checked the temps I almost shit my pants. I have never seen temps that low. I mean with just the 2 85watters those kick out some heat. I guess the small space and the 2 BIG fans running I can maintain these types of things.

Well your in hydro but I mean I you could even do a soiless mixture like 100% perlite or 50% perlite 50 vercumlite. It would be almost like hydro just without pumps and shit and you would have to hand water but, I think this set up is very stealth and has the oppurtunity of running close to an oz from each plant if I do it right.

Get that hps bulb alot closer to the plants. It might be small be upclose it can still be good. I'd try like 10-12 inches at first and then see if you can move it closer. Rule of thumb is the light isn't too close if you can put your hand right over the top of the plant and its comfortable. I'd use that to lower that hps and kinda get some light to all of the plants. I can really tell if you have topped them right. Check google for topped marijuana plants it will bring up pics

Aight thats a good thing. You say you turned to 12/12 today too? Thats good leaving the topping alone now. You should see preflowers in about 21-25 days letting you know the sexs. Generally males grow faster/taller/etc.... and show early than females. They will tend to take the whole 25 days of 12/12 before you see preflowers. Although if you veg still they are sexually mature example: When the plant is mature it will stop growing fan leaves directly across from each other, they will start having one on one side then move up and one on that side and so on and so forth. These plants will show sex faster also. It takes close to 2 month veg time to get them mature and growing like this in the veg stage. They automatically keeping doing this during flower. So it is just a faster rate.
