Today i decide to invest in a cabinet type piece i found at a thrift store for pretty cheap. The first thing i did was line the box with aluminum bubble insulation. is this good? Curently in my box i have 4 23w and 2 27w daylight cfls. I got pretty high the other day and thought up a pretty handy little cfl mount/reflector. i mounted a power strip on top of a big size aluminum bakeing pan found at any grocery store. After mounting the power strip i went to home depot and found all the pieces i needed to complete my cfl mount/reflector. i bought 3 light bulb splitters and 3 light bulb to AC adapter. I plugged each ac adapter in every other slot on the power strip in the bakeing pan and theres my easy cheap cfl mount. I also have 1 intake fan but hope to get another for exhaust tomorrow.

Well now that i have all that cleared up i show yall a couple pictures of my babies.
Any advice is appreciated.

i flipped the one fan i have around as an exhaust. lowered temeprature inside a lot. but still pln on gettin another fan or 2. could anyone tell me what would be a good ventalation for this box?

what are the dimensions of your cab? Take that foil tape or whatever it is down!! Put a layer of primer and paint the inside flat white. for ventilation use the 2 for 1 rule (2x intake for 1x ehaust) always ehaust from the top and intake from the bottom....

its 3 feet tall 18" deep and 24" wide. i have i exhaust fan at 65cfm and an intake around 30cfm. that is reflective insulation. i read a couple threads and found people said that was the best. it also helps keep my box at a constant temp. usually around 83.4

im only using this for veg. i am planning on putting them under 400w hps for flower

if your temp is already 83 with cfls its going to be much warmer with the hps. If your growbox was in a garage or some other area without climate control then i would understand, but it makes no sense to use something that will hold the heat inside your box..............
