If you got that smell of moonshine then don't change your recipe. You got it right, nothing like fermented sugar water.

LOL! When I dumped it out I was like....ewwww....what the hell is that smell? Good to know I've got the right mix to maintain a healthy yeast colony...lol! Gotta take the alcohol along with the the c02

I use 1 pkg of brewers yeast (which is about 2tblsps) and a half cup of sugar to about 32oz of warm water. Just keep an eye out for fruit flies, I found a few at the top of the tube from where I over flowed a little

hey buddy! just realized u put up pics a few days back. There lookin good. Your right about the short lil guy hes looking really bushy!! Today I found another one of my plants turned over night and starting to turn purple. Tomorrow im thinking im gonna refresh my reserves. The water been about three weeks so im slackin a bit. So far no harm no foul on that. ill prob wait a day to run a lil water thru em and then add in my nutes. You flower your bubs for about 8-9 weeks usual? Keep up that cfl grow!!! Flowers are startin to look tight chica!!!

Isn't it about time for a new picture update? I know when I grow the auto's I have they won't look anything like yours, but inspiration can do wonders...lol.

Hi Cherry! I think I've got 2 of what the one fella was saying was a "flat top" cola. They look so different from the other 3, which makes sense cuz they were the 2 dwarf ones that were later to pop from the peat pellets, and the ones that needed a helping hand getting their shell loose. The other sativa like ones are starting to stretch so good and I'm so proud of their node spacing. I think when the lights come on today I'm gonna bend the colas on the 2 short indica so all that middle growth can shoot up. I think about a 40degree angle should work. Any advice on this from anyone? I just have soooo much growth in the middles of them I'd hate to see it all go to waste with tennie tiny bubblebuds...lol!

I plan on flowering until ripe......however long that takes,lol, which from what I'm hearing from the more experienced growers, is 8 weeks average. But as usual, I'm sure the sativa dom ones are going to take longer.
I like thinking of it like this.....when they are ripe and the pistils recede into the ladybud they are done! I leave my window at 8-12 weeks...helps me have more patience.

HAHA!! I was tryin to wait till Friday so you can really see some difference. They sure are getting taller and the pistils are pooping out everyday.
I'll take a few pics for ya tonight when lights go on K still debating tying the bushy ones back a wee bit???

Yes, bending to 40 or 45 degrees will help the middle get some light and help that growth. I've been practicing on my bag seed to see what happens and then working it on the store bought seeds. Opening up my 8 ball has allowed those lower buds to expand some.

My little lower buds are so legit! They are fat. I would say 90 degrees. That would trick the plant into pushing most of its "juice" to the more verticle plant. That's my 2 cents. But I'm all scrub so I don't know anything lol. I'll go back to my corner now! Of you are going to bend them do it soon before the stretch stops.. If you wait like me and bend late the buds don't really sit up right and it don't look as pretty. They need the stretch to correct themselves.

I would have to agree with dabumps on the 90 degree bend. Thats what i did to one of my plants to try out and it has like 6-8 nice bigger colas and the lil buds down in between get way better lighting and are fattin up nicely. Im thinking im gonna do it with all my plants next grow. I like the look of big colas as apposed to a bunch of lil nugs. Just imo. Keep it up calicatt!

90 degrees ....I don't want em gettin too bush..lol! I do get lots of light all the way around, I just wanted them a little bit bigger in the middle. I'm gonna go try a little and see how that looks....thanks bumps and poppa! Now get back in your corner...lol!

This is my experiment (mind you it is also my first grow) I topped this plant and then began to lst all the branches. Lost track of how long it has been in flower, but hey I'm going to get bud from it.

LOL!!! No, it's one of them many freebies I have thanks to my girlfriends 4zip bag of seeds. Pure shwagbO...

So here are some pics of my garden, 12 days since the 12/12 flip with 5 1/2 wks veg. I bent over the 2 main colas on the bushes to get some more light to the inner growth in hopes all those nodes stretch up a little bit. I've been pulling off the lower leaves when they turn funky and it's def helping the light get right through there. I try to pluck off a few from each plant once a week.
I threw in a few funny pics of my puppy who insisted on sitting in the car with me while I burned a nice sativa jibba and listened to some tunes We had a blast....lol!

That's Mr Jake the Snake....he's a pitbull/rhodesian ridgeback and he's the punk ass of my 2 dogs. Always gotta be with me, and he thinks he's a lap dog.....weighs almost 100lbs now! He's all muscle on the outside, but a loving little puppy on the inside.

they are lovin that light, you should get your t5 fixture hung up there too

If I could....I would.....but I kinda like it where it is along the side. I've got it angled just right so it beams right through the center of all the lower spots. Sometimes I just shut it off to see what it looks like without it on....and it's super shady without it.
My fish must be pissed....lol! It's OK though....I bought a cheap tube for my tank, but I sure do miss the way it lights up an aquarium.
I'm still waiting on Waly to restock those darn emergency blankets so I can do your idea and get some lumens redirected back down to them.

If I could have my entire walls and ceilings lined with T5's I totally would. Like a tanning room for my plants If I get my hands on some xtra cash I'm gonna pick up a few nice ones.
