I'd tape it to my handcuffs LOL. Seriously, the only thing about watts is the heat. Each bulb should have an amperage draw rating. As long as you do not exceed 20 amps on each 20 amp circuit you should be OK.

1 Find the amperage draw of a 100-watt lightbulb supplied by a household voltage of 120 volts. Use the formula above of i = w /v, where 100 watts / 120 volts is equal to .83 amperes.

2 Use the same formula, but this time use the specifications from a kitchen stove. The oven and stove when all the elements are on will use 12,000 watts of power with 220 volts supplied from the circuitbreaker panel. The formula will read i = 12.000 / 220. The amperage draw for the stove will be 54.5 amperes.

Does that make sense? You have to know what's on each circuit. I plan on using some big mamajammas with reflectors. My problems will come from climate control...I think.

How much did you get out of the 15 plants? How much of it was good shit?

I got slightly less than 2 oz per plant- all 15 under 1200 watts. I'd say 1/3 was very nice, 1/4 was good and rest was so-so. The very nice stuff was VERY good though. More average product than anything weight wise. But pick a winner or two as mothers and clone them to be happy. This is to be expected with Nirvana seeds- cheaper but with more variation. If you want them all to be uniform and high quality, pay the extra money and buy Serious Seeds Bubblegum.........

Can you litter box train your chinchilla?

I think I'm gonna make a co2 maker! Link the instructions!
I've tried to get mine to go in the little potty that goes in her cage but frankly they shit everywhere and you need a dust buster in hand all the time to suck up the poops. Chinchillas poop out over 100 pellets a day :o They eat em at certain times of the day too.....ewwww! They are so mysterious.

Wow...that's great, thanks for the expertise, makes TOTAL sense! Everyone is full of GREAT knowledge today :)
Keeping your space cool enough seems like the most difficult part of growing. Every time you add a bulb you have to worry about temps going up. I totally would blow the circuit if I hooked up my portable ac unit in my room :( you saved me from all that aggravation...lol! So now I need to come up with another way of keeping it cool....should the need arise. I really only have to worry about it if it over 80deg outside, then my temps get to about 85-90 and my leaves get all wrinkled looking and sad, and I don't like that one bit. They sure do always seem to bounce right back :) I need to be ready just incase we have anymore hot days, which I'm sure we will. Why can't it stay 68 all day every day? ;)

Almost 2 oz. per plant? That's awesome!
Fed...the commercial growers who use hps and stuff FROWN upon 2zips per plant...LOL!!! Did you see he used 1200w...that is crazy. I hope someday to be using that many watts ;) So 2 zips from each plant isn't much considering....I'd cry from joy if I got 2 zips per plant!!! It just seems so short to me in comparison to Ladybud and Nitro. I want to flower NOW just so I can if they get any bigger....isn't that silly? ROFL!!

2 oz. per plant is about average for my style of grow. I also just finished a room of Green Poison, 24 plants under 2200 watts that yielded 55 oz.

I find most of the Bubblelicious to be more sativa like- the buzz is all in the head, not in the body. But I keep the best 1-2 plants for myself and get rid of everything else so i never really smoked anything from the other 22 plants. The strain likes a lot of light so for best results, load up the light as much as possible........ it can be heavily fertilized and needs at least 70 days other than 1 pheno that was done around 9 weeks. As I said, it's ok- not great, not terrible. The best plants (a couple out of 15) you'll find are VERY good though.

*bogarts the bubba kush, takes nice slow strong hits....passes back to Kush (eventually) * lol! What? I've never had bubba kush before :)

Green Poison sounds sweet....who do you find has the best seeds for the buck?

Hey everyone ;) Happy Late 4/20 Day!!!!

So after some careful thought and more and more research, I decided that 5.5 weeks was just about where I wanted to be in veg considering the size of my babies now and how they will grow 3x's their size, my closet wouldn't be wide enough to sustain 5 4ft wide bushes....lol!
Before I did the big switch, I was thinking that the bubble sisters needed a little bit more room in their pots. Mainly because when I put them in their 3 gal buckets I think I put them a little too far into the pot (about 4" down) in anticipation for a stretch, and I was just gonna throw some more dirt on top once they stretched. The stretch did not happen and I was not getting much light towards the bottom due to their bushiness and how they grew out instead of up. Luckily the dirt was a tiny bit moist in each pot so pulling them out wasn't as bad as I thought.
I used my little garden spade and gently ran it along the edge of my pots. I sunk both of my hands along each side all the way to the bottom and pulled them up and put it in a giant bowl. I cleaned out the pots and drain trays and filled the bottom with about 5" of fluffed dirt and watered well with a few drops of superthrive. I filled in the empty spots along the edges with fresh dirt and all 5 seemed to take the process rather well. I had plenty of room inside each pot for root and each one appeared to have a great root system established. After I did all 5 I watered just a bit and started changing bulbs out and cleaning the closet again. I found a spider hanging from the ceiling and one running across the floor :o I think I may have to put some nylons over the holes from the exhaust and intake so no buggies come in through my attic.

So for lights, I kept the 6 27w 6500k's and just rearranged them and added about 4 y adapters to mix better with my 6 2700k's. I also brought out the 2 68w 2700k's and put them evenly spaced (but mainly over my 2 indica ladies.

No food again yet, just straight water for now. Next watering I will be using the flowering feeding schedule and start feeding more heavily :)
Keeping their "Dawn" the same at 3pm and lights out now at 3am! Stinks cuz I won't be able to look at them before work anymore.... :( Oh well....more time with them at night then!

I'll have some pics up later on tonight, but they may looked a little pissed off :o

Sounds good catt,
The only thing I would do differently is give them a 50/50 mix of veg and flower nutes for the first two weeks.
They're still gonna need some nitrogen for the stretch they are about to go thru

Gotcha Kush....I think all 3 bottles of the Neptunes line has Nitrogen in it...one is more and one is less. The fish & seaweed mix is a 2-3-1, the straight fish is a 2-4-1, and the seaweed is 0-0-1 npk. The schedule for flowering I have says this,
week1 - 1oz per gal fish - watering in between week w/ 1oz seaweed/fish per gal
week - 1oz per gal seaweed/fish - watering in between week w/1 oz seaweed.

Does that sound right so far? It feels nice to be growing straight organic (minus the tiny bit of superthrive for transplanting) is superthrive organic? It just can't be!!
It sure is better than those MG nutes I was using for my first grow...lol! It seems I just can't burn my plants with this stuff!!!

Oh....and when I said my plants would look pissed.....they look absolutely wonderful....day 1 flower...WOoOoOoOoOHoOoOoO!!!!!! Now that's how big they really are 4in up from the pot ;)

peep my new fan....it is pretty bad ass.....it's gonna be nice and cold here and rainy all next week so I got a good jump on flowering. And damn wally world has been out of emergency blankets all month..lol :) wonder why????

can't forget part of the bubble entourage keeping an eye out :)
