Hey, awesome grow - was just wondering how much the electricity bill was on 500w of CFL as I'm thinking of upping my CFL wattage.

see thats the thing, there is so many arguments stating cfl isnt as hott as hps and thats honestly a crock of shit, cfls arent hotter in one area but hotter in a bigger area because they are spread around and hps is just hott because the light/heat is all in one area directed in one area id agree even a 250hps would go harder than 500w of cfl and less money too

Hey this is a very nice thread,very informative. Just one question if you don't mind. You see I have about as much light as you,6 babies,and a tent. I am using 2 duct booster fans for venting up top and I have my ac going directly into the tent. Thermostat is set on 70-73 depending on the time of day and I am still getting temperatures upwards of 82. That's not too bad but I dont want it to get above 75-77. My question is:How do you manage your temperature fluctuations? If you use a fan,what size fan do you use? My tent is 2.5x5.5x5.5 so it's not very big and honestly I've had better luck in my closet,but my wife is concerned with light leaks and such so it's back to the tent.

Tebin, there is prolly a simple answer to your question...I'm a complex guy LOL. If you want a lower temp is there any way to get more A/C into the tent? Are you using the whole house A/C or a small portable? There is another helpful thread Grow Room Floor Plans, here to help. Lots of info there, too.

No....I'm not famous, and I wasn't in the Olympics this year...lol. But I sure am so happy to see most of my buddies still going strong.....I'll be making visits to your threads, since I haven't been on it what seems like years

Smoke Report for Nirvana Bubblelicious feminized:
First let me start by saying thank you to the Chief for helping me decide on this strain, thank you Chief.
It is the most stickiest, resinous, sweetest bud I have ever smoked in my life. It smells so good that I have to be careful where I store it, smoke it, and who I share it with. When I open up a jar it smells like a roll of Lifesavers that have rotted a little and then been rubbed in sweet skunk. Sometimes the faint flavor of pink bazooka joe bubblegum, but I'm so beyond looking for it to smell like Bubblelicious. When I smoke with people that do not know it's Bubblelicious, they can't help but comment on the sweet smooth taste and aroma. I've been told it tastes like cherries, limes, lemon, pineapple, gum, bananas etc. Hence the whole Lifesaver analogy
So.....out of 5 plants, 1 went hermie (seemed like a blueberry pheno of the bubb) got a 1/4 when I had to pull her - very yummy like blueberry pie and dirty socks...lol
2 girls were short, bushy indica - done flowering in about 10 weeks. Very strong smell and flavor of fruit, with a sweetness too sweet to describe, with just the slightest hint of skunk. The high is a knock you on your ass smoke me at night only kind of high.....and you need to burn incense when you smoke it due to it's very strong odor. It burns so slow and is so sticky I can mold a ladybud into the shape of a joint then roll it...lol! It's the most stickiest, yummiest bud ever The high lasts until you either pass out or smoke more just because it tastes so GREAT!!! Yield between the 2 indicas was 77g of pure happiness
2 of the taller girls I held off until about 13 weeks because they were still getting plumper and producing more and more resin everyday. They smelled of skunk so badly.......skunk and candy apples, like a skunk sprayed a candy apple and you licked it. When I was trimming my eyes were watering and you wouldn't believe the amount of scissor hash I got. They sure were a pain in the ass to trim though due to their stickyness. These 2 ladies cured just right, nice and dense the way ladybuds should be. When I crack a bud open they make this popping sound that makes the hair on my arms go up...lol! The smell from when I'm rollin one up still makes my eyes water it's so strong. The high is very creative so you have to be careful, it's last a few hours and makes you want to get shit done while still giving you that "Oh I feel so HIGH feeling" it is awesome for daytime I made my Dad a few batches of brownies and he is absolutely loving life right now...lol! He's hiking and doing all the things he loves, alot of thanks to the browines of the 2 sativa dom girls. The indica makes him really groggy and he doesn't really like that too much. These 2 tall ladies graced us with 92g of tight sparkly stinky goodness.
This grow was truly awesome for me and I'm psyched to start my next as soon as this heat settles down.
I will grow this strain again in hopes for the pink pheno....but not just yet. I've got something else up my sleeve...........and you'll just have to wait for it!
