Carbon Filter Set Up Recomendations

Hey new to forums and what not and I was looking for a bit of help with my cabinet set up if anyone would care to share their advice :]. I am a newbie, and at the moment i have 2 cabinets with 2 3 gallons pots in each. Both used to be wardrobes and the dimensions are approx. W18in,L2ft,H5ft8in, and W18in,L3ft,H5ft8in. I am thinking of installing an inline carbon filter exhaust out the top of each wardrobe because each one has another closed compartment on top that could easily hide cords, tools, powerboxes, etc. I am going to cut another hole in the roof of this compartment to allow air to escape freely. I live in a brick flat and have neighbors on either side, not that they would care a whole lot as long as it didnt absolutly reek. Would a 2 4in inline carbon filter be enough for both of them? I want each cab to be a closed system incase I decide to hold onto a male in the future. I need to be able to comletely control smell though because every 4-5 months a realtor comes and inspects my place. Would an ionizer help? I've heard they work extremely well and we used to have one at our old place to get the cigarette smoke stink out from a long weekend. Sorry forgot to mention, this is a CFL set up, so I have no heat to be venting.

get high tech get a ozone generator , the best way to go , they cost 75 bucks. they soak up all the smell , I see people doing 70 no smell. if you have a larger area . this is a very good way to go , not good if your in a closet or tent, this should be placed out side the tent

Tent is not an option since its winter here in stralia and i dont have a secure location of land nearby. My budget is 300 but i would prefer to only spend 200. I've done research and not too thrilled about some of the things about ozone generators, but I have not actually talked to anyone with first hadn expirience as of yet except reading the forums.

it it helps you , ive used both ,. the carbon filter runs a fan noisy, 24 hours a day. the ozone gen is in the basement in a corner, so its cleaning 2000 square feet, it runs on an built in timer on for 10 minits then off for 10 , its a common device seen inside walmarts or kmarts, any shoping store, all there is , a little black light built in to it and small fan., no noise, if your area is vented at least 1000 square feet, not just one small room this is the way to go , I would not set your wrong, if you have breathing problems or small kids I would not have this, or plants, those plants stick like paint fumes, you don't want the next door nabor calling on you ,, a carbon filter works as well, I took a friends advice and go a ozone generator never looked back in 3 years,

Hm ok definitively know what fixtures your taking about as far as public places, but my bedroom is only 15 ft by 20ish feet. Any brand you would recommend? Still a little wary about them, how loud were the fans you were using? Were they inline? Did they get rid of the smell?

Would an ozone generator be safe to run in a bedroom that size?

High levels of ozone can be toxic to you and your plants so you want to be sure not to get one to big for your space, if you are using it the best option would be to mix it with the smelly air then exhaust from your house with out ever allowing it to seep into the rest of the room, you would accomplish this using negative air pressure. But it doesn't sound to me like this is what you would want, it seems to me like a straight forward ventilation system with a carbon filter would be your best bet, some where in there you stated that you were using cfls so you would have no heat issues and i just thought i would chime in and tell you that might not be the case, my grow room was 5x2.5x8or9 and had 8 27 actual watt cfls in it and i had some heat problems with out ventilation, i also have a small veg cab about 2x2x3 feet and with 2 bulbs and no ventilation and it got up to triple digits pretty fucking quickly.
