I'm back Wednesday and ill see how things are looking. Think the one is getting chopped this week. Def worried about bud rot tho sounds like a super common issue.

Yeah I am.nlt worries about bud rott never had it before if anything my fans will take care of any indicates water after the rain and or shaking it off quick ...

Well I pushed the limits with my big choc haze had to make a decision to chop her yesterday and take everything I could basiclaly a salvage operation .

So sad to be honest my story learning to grow has not been an easy one I have spent about 2 k in grow equipment and nutrients etc since I started which I know is not a ton but anyway I respect the amount of work involved this was suppose to be my cash out year so to speak .

Damn aphids but I still managed to pull off quite abit and my other plants are OK for now but therea alof of baby aphids flying around my yard so upsetting.

Anyway the picture shows whats left on the plant that just might be left there to rott away not sure id we will clip anymore as this all needs to be hand trimmed and inspected no trimmer machine .

Easily over a pound left on it prob way more !

The buds were about a week away from ideal picking top colas rock hard and heavy and looser as you go down the branches but hey better than last year .

I still have my other 4 plants and several pounds to go so ...

I know also just learned or noticing the diffenrce between sticky buds and greasy oily dank buds might sound weird but yeah I can notice it now .

I might still be able to pick more branches off its just a time.thing due to it taking so long to hand trim and inspect by the time I do that the bugs will have wrecked any bud left ...

I will not give friends and family aphid buds not a chance I know

Right, thinking if adding a tarp or umbrella for those rainy days, not sure if thats a move tho evertime it rains or if I should do it just on consecutive days of rain 2 to 3 +

Yeah not to sure to be honest I know alot of people that don't have any issues in the fall but ...I don't plan on doing anything to mine but I will be checking them daily ...my biggest threat now is aphids infecting the other plants but all my plants but 1 could be chopped now its in the early harvest window but possible so ..

Wondering if there such a thing as a little bit of pm? I just have some coming up here and there that I've been trying to stay on top of with various sprays ... I'm talking about a dot or two here and there, what would you guys suggest?

I salvaged a few more ounces of clean bud off the haze whats left is smaller tiny buds /medium popcorn buds but yeah I the rest is toast I don't know prob about 3/4 pound left on it such a waste and yeah my other banner and cookies which have been clean and free of bugs and mold now have the odd small aphid clinging to the leaf during the day not that I am going to but thought crossed my mind to leave the haze bug bud up so they stay over there but obv not lol ....

Trim machine works great ($219 all in delivered next day ) I only toss medium sized buds in the bigger colas I am hand trimming and any other sizable nuggets ...go slow about 20 to 25 turns and kaboom but why I didn't clue in that I wouldn't be hang drying is beyond me I like hang drying no rotaing buds no flat spots and take sup way less room but I guess if I had drop done drying racks alot of them it would be ok but yeah this trimmer is basically a wet trimmer I think it would smash up dry buds and trichs to much ...

I bought the 16 inch rathe than the 19 inch because I can't seem to find replacement blades for the 19...

Indoor fans are going and drying in 2 differnt areas ..

Haze downstairs pound at least /hope
Cream caramel spare bedroom only looks like a few ounces maybe 3 we will see .

Still have the other 2 big ones to chop and the potted orange kush cake Hoping for 3 pounds out of all those combined .

Oh yeah rains a coming ....

One pic of the calyx trichomes on the haze plant ..
Next is cookie trichs

Well I salvaged as much as possible of the big haze damn thrips/aphids

What sucks it i was prob a week away from the buds densin up so when dried i ended up with light fluffy buds sucks ...

I figure I harvested a pound off it and tossed away at least 2 pounds 1st pic is all waste and big ridden.

Thank God I have 3 others .
Luckily I know the strain and it will still be smokable but what a waste .

First 3 pics waste from.the haze

Bruce banner is doing great and stacking up as well as my cookies...

I am just praying the next 2 to 3 pounds is dense buds and I can make it another week to 2 weeks .

So I have obviously lost alot this season but I am still learning and growing big plants all make sense to me.just incase this happened

Tossed away over half of my haze so far prob 1.5 pounds

Cut down that madarin cookie plant which was a pound

So I have tossed out prob 2.5 pounds so far jeeeepers ....but the other cookie I chopped a while back wasn't near ready obviously ...

If I still walk away with 4 to 5 pounds total I will be happy I am only keeping 2.5 to 3 pounds for myself and wife and giving the rest away to friends and family so all good !

Hope everyone's doing good my sujjestion is run that fan 24/7 its working wonders for me ! Pm is not even a concern anymore just the damn thrips luckily they haven't infested my other plants YET .

As you can see the haze is completely gone even the stump and all bagged up I wanted to keep the stump to dry out and turn it on my lathe and make a wine glass out of it but a few months back I had a split that I didn't seal up well and you can see the trunk was starting to rott a bit or if rotten never noticed anything on the plant but

Next year I a going to buy that plant stem sealer shit.

Can't wait to see your guys harvests and weights I am.not as excited to weigh in now loosing so much but the show must go on .

Dryijg is going good I am on day 4 now
No direct fans I have alittle usb fan thats perfect and a larger fan on the other side of room just barely a breeze .

But like I said I am not a fan of rack drying I would prefer hang drying but my trimmer works best wet so is what it is luckily I am a contractor and have a massive roll of house screening so

Well pm is def getting worse here not sure if I should try and keep these going or not... The ones I cut last Thursday seemed pretty airy after they dried a bunch. Still not really seeing any amber so they could still benefit from growing. It's gonna be a wet week here it looks like. Pic 3 and 4 are one plant 5 and 6 are the other.

I feel your pain bud, 3 out of 4 plants of mine are starting to get it bad and they can for sure use another week or two, before the first harvest. Tried everything, baking soda, soap, water, that was ok before a breakout, milk and water seemed to work a bit but left a white residue and smelled a bit, tried apple cider viniger last night and this morning it still seemed to be there so I don't know about that. Last thing I'm trying today after work is a hydrogen peroxide 1:5 water ratio spray, from that I've read its promising but so were the other remedies. Otherwise it's flush and harvest

Working on the plants all day today. Found 2 spots with bud rot both on the same plant. Does this mean the plant is infected? Or does it stay localised?

Huh ...that sucks i think its a moisture prob overall I could be wrong but I don't think it spreads like pm but I am not really sure but if a few buds have it it would make sense that the others might not be far behind if not chopped but who knows were the buds in the middle of the plant or in a low ventilated area or ?
