The past 50 years of people thinking like that is the reason the polar ice caps are melting every summer. That type of simple minded arrogance is not what people need right now. Its time to act like adults and come together.
Except the polar ice caps aren't melting. They melt every year in the summer and freeze in winter. Even GreenPeace admits that.

You're in denial. Try telling that to the eskimos and others who have lived there all of their lives and witnessed the changes firsthand from having a solid icepack all year to the ice now melting every summer.
