That's too bad about Kwantlan, a very forward looking and progressive university. I know meeting with them we planted the medical marijuanna seed, (so to speak ), and they have started to run with it. They were more than helpfull, and eager to partner up with us.
Have you tried Dr. Ware, director of clinical research at the McGill University Health Centre’s pain clinic, he is also executive director of the Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids.

Thanks 'It'sme'. The person that wrote back at Kwantlan was quite polite and did mention the LP/horticulture thing but did say as well that they don't have the ability to take on PhD students. I did write to McGill but not to that person. There was a person from there who did a review of all cannabis publications and said basically more genuine research needs to be done whom I sent my question of whether or not he'd be interested in being my mentor/supervisor. But I will go ahead and send a research proposal to Dr. Ware. Youse guys are on the ball with helpful suggestions. I have sent emails to all the major universities across Canada including the territories that have the ability to do research. Several no's but the majority of places didn't even bother to write back.

Another way to go at this would be for me to mention that it's sort of a big thing to academics to have their research published in a peer reviewed journal. There's tonnes of these kind of journals and they even make money by charging other researchers to see the full articles online. Some of the journals sometimes fund their own studies or raise money to do a study under the supervision of the journal. If no university in Canada accepts me, then I should and have applied internationally. I'd love to be accepted at amsterdam university. That's by so appropriate. But what I am getting at is that if this type of research keeps being suppressed by universities, which we should all consider a serious barrier to getting the validation and truth verified to what we've been saying...then maybe a journal of medicinal cannabis should be created and the research done from there. What's your take on that? I am thinking that a registered nurse could start such a journal if none existed. Could be a plan B.

I would try Jamaica mon....... I know for fact that one University has reached out to a former associate of mine, not sure what university, or who the contact was. But they were interested in canna butter, don't see why oil wouldn't be in their interest.

Now Jamaica I haven't gotten to yet so thanks for that suggestion! So long as the university gives it a green light - then the research can get done. If we're proven right that cannabis oil kills cancer in humans then why not in animals like our dogs etc and so the research continues on and the naysayers have some competition in the circles of leadership.

My pops is on oil right now, not even close to the 1 g per dose yet, we're 1 month in and at about a grain of rice. Now because of the nature of his cancer, he's also doing chemo and rad as a just in case measure. We simply do not know of anyone who has taken oil for esophageal cancer so we feel that going both traditional and non will yield the "safest" result.

What we did notice that something that he is getting with the chomo (either the actual chemo or the anti-nausea) medicine is actually reducing any dizziness and "high" effect that he used to get prior to it. Something to look into.

If you are looking internationally I would suggest Spain. Their cannabis industry and research has taken off in the past decade.

Okay. Thanks guys. I send energy to your pops agracan. I've seen a you video of a man who put his chemo as plan B and then did a plan A of cannabis oil for his prostate cancer and it reduced the cancer tumor tremendously. I think his video is still on there. I did write to jamaica at their number one university and they said contact the specific departments to find a supervisor. When international usually you have to first contact the international students office so you get a bit of a runaround. Spain, will they teach in english or only spanish I wonder? Thank you for the suggestion.
