its real, i have a few questions for you if you want to talk about it,

1. Normally 2 am in the morning, but feeling like shit most of the day, like the other name suggests - cyclic.
2. Lost a little, but I think that is mostly due to abstaining from alcohol till we find out what is causing this.
3. I am solely a Joint or oil person, never been able to consume edible due to the taste and smell.
4. Yeah, baths and showers.

This is my first day without MJ for 10 years (?) - If I am not sleeping or working, there is a joint in my mouth.....friends call me Doctor Weed!
Its 2am now, and have not vomited yet, which is strange for me, stomach little sore still.

From what I understand, if it's 'hyperemesis' - is that, lipophilic and have long half-lives, they may accumulate with chronic heavy use to the point where they start to exert a paradoxical effect, i.e vomiting like symptoms.

If it's 'Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome' - basically I am stuffed, live with it.

sorry bro, yeah sounds bad

keep clear of the alcohol like you said, have your liver checked out just to be sure but it sounds like hyperemesis.

some people can smoke again (within limits) after some time without the cannabinoids, but for other people your endocannabinoid system might be too fucked

hope the cold turkey isn't too unpalatable. you using anything else to take the edge off?

Not too bad, cold and hot sweets, and half hour sleeps at a time. No physical shaking, or bad tempers etc.

Coming up 7 weeks without a Stella Artois..............Stella will be missing my wallet for sales...................lol

Liver and everything has been checked, camera down the throat, bloods x 100, piss and fecal samples, ultra sound, CT. Only thing that keeps popping up is the CRP (C-reactive protein), which I think means my body is fighting something like the inflammation in stomach due to the retching?

Having a test done for stomach movement. Eat some eggs given by the hospital laced with radioactive material me thinks, then they test every hour for four hours the movement of that food. They will give me a MRI due to headaches *which are not that bad).

I think after they have rules underlying sinister problems out, and if vomiting stops while abstaining from weed - we have our answer.

However, if abstaining from weed, and everything else ruled out and still vomit, it will be cyclic vomit syndrome.

I do know of many side effects via bioaccumulation.
I dont know anything pharmacologically that would explain this resulting from weed. However if it was, dont expect to see significant improvements for about a month, 2 months and most is clear but will quickly return...atleast in the cases ive seen, and agian not related to chs specifically...hope you feel better nonetheless

fucking doctors, I hope you have found a good one.

CRP means your body is reacting to 'something'. anything that gets your immune/self defence/inflammation system to react shows up positive. A lot of chronic health conditions raise it too. It won't give us any idea wats actually wrong, so we'll make sure we do all the 3 letter acronym tests, and a few 4 letter acronym tests. We don't actually understand what your disease is or why you have it, but we gave it a name so we can refer to it medically. Just stop doing something that has been a part of your daily life for decades because we reckon its got something to do with it.

We don't have any other suggestions to help. our drugs and pharmaceuticals are overpriced and largely ineffective, even when you follow our instructions - which no one ever does.

hope your insurance is treating you well.

fucking health system.

dont laugh at me bro, but try meditating and drinking green/oolong teas. with training you can get 'high' and heal your physical body at the same time...

I'm a serious convert.

I'm a CVS sufferer, CHS is something doctors like to jump on if I tell them I smoke. They tend to ignore the fact I've had CVS symptoms since I was six.

CHS is a relatively new diagnosis the medical field has come up with and they are extemely quick to diagnose people with it. All it takes is mentioning you have nausea and smoke weed.

I've been through every test you listed, even that horrible radioactive egg test.

Do you have any triggers that cause you to feel nauseous?

No triggers, the specialist only suggested CVS, it was myself that found by doctor google about CHS.

CHS seems to fit the glove, or I am hoping its CHS.

Is it really that bad those eggs you have to eat?

Strange, 36 hours without any weed and feeling pretty good.......?! Unless I have timed it on the down cycle of CVS.....?

I New Zealand we have a health system from our taxes, works pretty good most of the time. If we pay for private insurance, you still get taxes taken out for the national health system, which I think is wrong.

If it went away that quickly it didnt have anything to do with bioaccumulation- compounds with a long half life causing side effects.
Etc. Basically means, high probability weed is not a factor.

With CVS people can identify certain triggers that will pretty much guarantee an attack, usually things that also trigger migraine which CVS is linked to. Do you have a history of migraines?

CVS is not a constant state of nausea, its periods of feeling completely fine followed with apparently random attacks of extremely severe nausea, uncontrollable vomiting and fatigue that lasts for days. The nausea that comes with CVS is so bad that doctors prescribe Zofran at twice the amount they prescribe to chemotherapy patients.

The egg test is disgusting even if you like eggs, I personally can't stand them. They bring you a hard boiled egg thats in some kind of preserving liquid, inside a plastic bag with a radioactive sticker on it . Instead of being white, the egg had this weird greyish blue color and the yolk was grey, it was probably that nastiest thing I've ever had to eat.

not all the cannabinoids in ganja are as useful to us as each other, and the latest genetic hybrids, inbred for fucked up traits that aren't natural probably have upset the delicate balance 'Jah offer us.

Smoke landrace, thats what i tell myself - and i'll never get CHS

well, i will have Chronically High Syndrome, but thats cool

I only run White Skunk and White Rhino indoor, little bit of outdoor when I can.

Not migraines, few headaches. 2008 I was in hospital for 3 weeks with intense migraines, morphine, caffeine diet, MRI, Lumbar puncture this and that, nothing showed up.....?

Fuck it, I am going to have a joint, and see what it does to me tonight..................
