Anyone notice this about harvesting too early?

RLS is from excessive dopamine. maybe you are getting real high.

i bet if you starting running or walking long distances you wouldn't have as much of a problem. some speculation that people were supposed to walk/run a lot, so your legs have some sort of built up tension to move....probably BS though.

RLS can get you a weed license TX...spasticity.

RLS or Willis-Ekbom disease is not caused by cannabis use. In fact cannabis is actually used as a treatment.

"There is an increasing interest in cannabis for symptom relief, and preliminary evidence seems promising for its use in RLS"

There is a ton of information available regarding cannabis and RLS. All of it is regarding cannabis as a treatment not a cause. It could be a sign of other health issues and you should seek advice from a real doctor and not assume it's from cannabis.

I'm 59 and I have been partaking for 40 years. I work from home and smoke all day. I'm also a health nut. No sugar, preservatives, low blood pressure, etc. The restless leg and body result in extreme fatigue at around 7:30 pm every evening. When I smoke dispensary weed this doesn't happen at all. It only happens when I smoke my homegrown, which I have been harvesting way too early according to everything I have learned here.

There seems to still be a lot of unknowns. I am convinced that cannabis that is harvested too early has an adverse effect on anxiety, spasms, restless leg, and extreme fatigue. Just putting this out as it might be useful to someone who is doing a study one day.

do you grow sativas? i find dispo weed is often cut on the early side. i cut my bud on mid to early side of things, 10% amber, and it feels later cut than the dispo stuff. i can't find amber on a lot of dispo stuff.

Mostly Mephisto autos. The Ripleys OG in particular gave me restless leg. That particular grow dried in 3-4 days as the RH here was super low and the humidifier couldn't keep up. It might have been a combo of early harvest and fast dry that caused it.

Thanks. You're right. I shouldn't assume it's cannabis. I have a physical in a few weeks. I'll mention it to the PA.

Growing and smoking my own weed for couple of decades, I have certainly found the differences in early and later harvests. With a perpetual grow yielding a few plants every three weeks, it was easy and quite fun to experience the differences of certain strains and the end results when harvesting . Being older and with older peoples type shit, I find my all round fav is a 30-50% amber, even more on really 'stiff' days.
I gift my excess weed and get the most comments on the heavier amber-ed weed. If I was still working, I'd prob like an earlier harvest but now it's more laying around listening to pink floyd....

oh autos. i don't find that high to be nice at all, it just makes me want to smoke compulsively trying to get high like normal bud. i didn't know that was on the table. it could be controversial, but perhaps it's just auto weed that is the culprit. also, doesn't a lot of auto bud have a hard time maturing? a nearby grower buddy who has been doing the autos for a few years never gets to amber because they won't amber.

Interesting. The nicest I had in ages was the dispensary weed I had in Portland. I am sure it was all photo. Aside from that, all I have had in years is autos. The crop I'm about to cut is photo. It should be interesting to see if it's a photo vs auto thing.
