Canadian Seal hunt controversy

When an animal dies, it produces death chemicals, like DMT. Those chemicals permeate the meat and fat. DMT is a psychedelic. Meat is made of chemicals, which are no different than drugs. After 7 years as a vegetarian and five as a vegan, your whole mental process changes. Especially if you're a vegan pot head. But it's more than just the food and chemicals. You get into a routine, and how you eat changes. A vegan's role in society causes a chain reaction of changes to your local social environment.

Karma isn't something magical, but does exist. Every living being's actions from the past affect your choices right this very second. Had only one change happened, your life would be very different. Those choices you didn't make have extreme consequences on what could've been and what is.
but in general, that is life.

actions and reactions.

a split second can save your life, determine your death or have any number of consequences in between.

I'm a determinist, so I'm with you on the cascading actions/reactions side of your argument. I don't believe there is any consequences that could be considered 'other worldly' for doing certain actions, e.g. doing immoral things. I do believe out actions have consequences in reality, but there's no overarching universal connectivity that evens out the playing field of good and bad actions.
What happens when an outside force causes the swam to change, like people who can control the flow of life? When you're bombarded with lies like meat is a must, when I prove most certainly it isn't.

Meat is a like. But the cattle rancher lobbyists penetrate the health department. Doctors are taught this at government backed and regulated medical schools. I get it all the time from doctors how I'm not really healthy, even though my blood tests prove otherwise. Somehow those tests aren't giving a complete picture based on my "improper" diet.

Those in control act like a collective consciousness putting ideas in your head that aren't your own which have been crafted with great care to take advantage of suggestion and false memory implantation. This is then aided with the use of terrible mind altering drugs, like SSRI. I know after being on some, along with beta blockers and anti-convulsants like Lamictal.

I have gastrointestinal issues and what I eat inflames my body. From bloating and cramps. Those GI distress made me not able to concentrate and people would react differently to me which in turn caused emotional distress, like anxiety.

Ever since quitting pharmaceuticals and going vegan, my mood, blood pressure and every single vital became normal. I'm now happier and healthier.

What?

Who said meat is a must? Humans can survive without meat... just like they can survive without veggies. There's a guy in England who lives of raw meat.... nothing else. Has anyone argued meat is a must? I just said it's natural, and it is.

I'm healthy too. I just choose not to stop eating meat because of several reasons, including the fact that's it's healthy for me AND that I enjoy it.

Conspiracy theory.

Good man, I'm happy for you. I'm happy and healthy and I eat meat and cream and butter, etc. You obviously have your reasons for not eating meat and I'm genuinely glad that it works for you. I have reasons for eating meat, and it works for me.

Quitting 'pharmaceuticals' is a very dangerous statement. You're basically saying any drug is bad, when that's demonstrably false. Drugs should be prescribed with care and attention to the harm they can produce, but there's no question that the advent of pharmaceuticals has been beneficial to humanity as a whole.

You think it would have been hard to be a vegetarian in 1850?
Eating dried fruit and shit all winter... lol

Humans didn't have the luxury of being as finicky eaters as they do today. Survival was more important, so humans adapted to eat whatever was available...

That's Racist....for you to say this, and even bring it up....
To buy products because I endorse their history, and ethical business practices, is racist? I support those causes with the products I buy. Seriously, fuck off. You're a clueless twit.

I made a mistake, he donates and the company continues to donate to various causes, including his "all-in-one-god-faith" which is an African based faith ideal.

DR. Bronner's Legacy said:
1940’s

Parents Murdered

The Nazis nationalize the soap factory in Heilbronn. Dr. Bronner's parents Berthold and Franciscka are deported to and eventually murdered in the death camps, Auschwitz and Theriesenstadt.

1940’s

Wife Dies; Peace Plan Begins
Dr. Bronner's wife Paula becomes sick and is hospitalized, dying in 1944.

Emil adopts honorific “Dr.” in deference to his university degree, but never actually got a doctorate. However, with his intensity, immense scientific knowledge, and thick German accent, no one would ever challenge him about it. Begins urgent mission to convince Roosevelt, Eisenhower and other American leaders, as well as the American public, about his vision for world peace across ethnic and faith traditions, and about the dangers of Communism alongside Fascism. So devoted is he to this mission that he leaves his children to be raised in various foster homes.

1945

Crucifixion/Institutionalization
Fred Walker (willingly) crucified for “Dr. Bronner’s Peace Plan” on a Chicago bridge; Dr. Bronner had no direct involvement. In part due to his increasing notoriety, Dr. Bronner arrested while speaking without a permit at the University of Chicago, and was institutionalized in the Elgin State Insane asylum for vehemently espousing his views. Undergoes shock treatments which were thought to be the miracle cures of the time, which he blamed for his subsequent declining eyesight and blindness in the 1960’s. He escapes some months later and travels to Los Angeles, where he is fond of saying he fit right in.

1948

Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps Founded
The first incarnation of the current Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps company begins. Begins manufacture of famous liquid Peppermint soap and health food seasonings. Dr. Bronner was pleased that the company’s founding coincided with Israel’s. To see a very interesting video about this time, visit Uncle Ralph’s video diaries, “Visit to an Insane Asylum".

1950’s

Pershing Square
Dr. Bronner lectures primarily in Pershing Square in LA, a hot-bed of activism of all stripes. He sees the need for the world to unite before it destroys itself, and he exhorts all people to unite as one, to respect each other and the environment, and he encourages all religions to recognize their universal similarities inspired by the same divine source. Dr. Bronner sees planetariums as being the 'All-One!' temples of the future, where humanity can realize how vanishingly trivial their differences are on Spaceship Earth in the celestial majesty of Creation.

On the side, he sells his Peppermint soap. He soon realizes that many people are taking the soap and leaving without listening to him speak. In response, Dr. Bronner begins to write his philosophy in dense tiny script on the labels of each bottle.

In the meantime, sons Jim and Ralph periodically help with the business, Ralph more with the labels and messages, and Jim with the actual production. Ralph becomes a school teacher in Wisconsin, and Jim spends eight years in the Navy.

1960’s/70’s

Counterculture Explosion
Young people, primarily members of the counter-culture, come to love the soap with which they could do everything: from washing their VW vans, to cleaning their bell-bottoms, to washing themselves by the nearby lake. They also groove on the label's call to peace and the fact that Dr. Bronner is a real person, not some corporate mascot. Word-of-mouth soon makes Dr. Bronner's the iconic soap of that era.

Dr. Bronner moves the bottling and shipping plant to Escondido, CA (North County San Diego) in the 60's. He meets and marries Gladys, his wife until he dies. Jim is now overseeing manufacture of the soap in the Los Angeles facility full-time, and he becomes the Vice President of R&D and Production.

1980’s

On the March
Dr. Bronner's soaps spread into every health food store in the U.S. and then into the mainstream as well, winning over fans from all walks of life. Ralph Bronner continues to work with Dr. Bronner on refining the message on the bottles. Jim Bronner launches his own chemical consulting company, Bronner Chemical and Technical Consulting, inventing among other things a fire-fighting foam concentrate used in forest and structure fires throughout the U.S. today. His son David Bronner works in the company during high school and college summers.

1986

All-One! in a Reggae Style
Dr. Bronner jamming with the All-One vision.

I was specifically talking about you suggesting that pharma companies in conjunction with meat producers are using SSRI's and memory implantation to get people to eat meat.

You misunderstand what I said then. The cattle industry and pharma each have their own agendl. In Montana the cattle rancher industry tried to implant into media that the governor was a pinko out to destroy America with vegetarianism. Pharma pays doctors with bribes to endorse their drugs. Americans are brainwashed to sit and do nothing which causes the doctor visit, because it's implanted you need a big breakfast that's bad after your metabolism slowed from sleep. You're not told fasting is beneficial. The players hide their connections. Health food and junk food are under the same owner with different names are pretend enemies. You only think you have choices.

Agreed.

Luckily, I'm Canadian... lol

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, luckily I have access to local meat all the time, and local produce most of the time. My butcher has free-range, grass fed meat and it tastes so different than store bought meat. It's incredible, the fat is a completely different colour and the texture is different too.

Healthcare is a lot different in Canada, obviously; so I can't really comment on what it's like to go to the Dr. in the USA....

I hate you. I just bought a 22 oz lobster tail for $27 and a 16 oz Rib Eye for $12.

That's what I get with my EBT!!!
If it was up to me lobster would be sold in bait shops. I don't understand why people like. If it wasn't for the butter the shit would be inedible. Ribeyes on the other hand are on God's dinner table (not the commie who posts here, the one who guides the Duck Dynasty band of brothers).

Frozen seal meat cut with one of those inuit mezaluna knifes straight outta the freezer fuckin rocks. The only thing tastier than seal meat is baby seal meat. Thats my two cents. As zimmer says, if it looks good, eat it.
