Canadian Government Strain MS-17/338

Hey Guys Im growing the strain MS-17/338 its the Canadian Gov's medical strain they sell to Canadian Medical marhuana card holders but they don't say a flower time that i can find they just give you the seeds and say grow ....... I have grow lots in the past i know what Im doin plants are 4 feet tall in a hydro system I have 3000 watts on a 4 by 12 foot grow deck they are 4 weeks into flower right now its looking like their flower time is 9 weeks by the way they look now but does anyone know what the Canadian gov says the flower time is????

flower times are a guide it make take longer or shorter than what is reccomended get a device for viewing trichomes that is how you should decide to harvest i harvest when most of the trichomes have gone from clear to cloudy or wait till 30% have gone amber if you want a more sleep inducing effect otherwise wait until 90% of the hairs have died back and turned red.

Ethansh I can't help you, I just have a couple questions. I'll search the web tonight to see if I can find some info on your strain.

Do you know if the government offers more than one strain, strains targeted towards different illnesses? I read that when Flim Flam opened they just took a pile of mixed seeds confiscated by the police/RCMP and grew them together.

Is this the one patients labeled, and I quote verbatim: "unfit for human consumption." Or was that just all government grown bud? Sad when kid with a half dozen CFLs can grow better weed than the government with millions of dollars.

This is interesting - I don't see how a government 9 to 5er will get better genetics than a breeder who's committed his life to breeding the best bud. Keep us updated, this is very interesting.

Hey No they only have the one strain that i know of and ya they just made their own strain out of seeds they got from the RCMP the stuff they grew was good lots of crystals out of a 1/8 you could get .8 of hash but it comes busted up in a bag so i wanted to try and grow it cause it does have a lot of hash to it even being ground up and the stuff the guy i grow for got came from Flin flan
and i know how to tell if a plant is ready all i was looking for was a guide line like right now its looking like a 9 weeker but was just checking to see if anyone knew

From what I hear from Canadian friends, the govt supplied flowers are garbage. Whether that is due to the genetics, or simply poor harvest/cure/care is yet to be decided.

hey that mine shaft in flin flon was a money maker before they grew pot from bag seed.i know more about that story from the bottom up,but i aint messing with it.

lol any government grown cannabis is bound to be crap either in the us or canada. people who have experienced either agree.

deppends witch part of you needs healing ?\

i really think you should go on youtube and look up " run from the cure " its about a guy called Rick Simpson(from nova scotia) and he is all about marijuana healing , give it a look you might like it

Hey I know this is old but please explain? I was a bit younger when that went on here (born and raised in ***FLIN FLON*** cmon people spell right ha ha, but would you mind letting me know some of the info? Some people around here say they grew the best of the best compared to government weed and that's why it shut down, others say it was so low quality. I really would like to know the story as I said I was born and raised most of my life here. Thanks
